What's with the creepy blonde girl?

Where did the creepy blonde girl come from? And why doesn't she speak? She didn't scream or say a word when Meredith fell.
I'm really impressed with Derick lately. He's really coming through and being there for Meredith. You can tell he really wants it to work. I hope she doesn't ruin it with her "scared of getting too serious" attitude.

I was hoping seeing Meredith fall would snap her out of her shock. I wonder if they will ever find her mother. I am hoping that she gets help in time. It would have been safer for Meredith if she had moved the man further away from the edge before working on him. However, you aren't supposed to move a trauma patient unless absolutely necessary.
Derek has been wonderful! He was so sweet after he pulled Meredith out of the tub.
Maybe almost drowning will make Mer's life flash before her eyes and she will realize how awesome Derek is and learn to appreciate him for the treasure he is.

I knoww! i dont like the little blonde girl only because when meredith fell in she just kinda stood there you would think that she would scream and run for help or at least do something but she just like slowly walked away! i hope someone finds meredith before its too late while shes underwater but i guess they kind of have to unless they are planning on canceling the show the main character really cant die

Well after what this little girl has just been thru and being separated from her mother, I think she's probably half in shock.

Well this is how I see it... in the begining of the show she was under water. They said she was going to kill herself but not really. But I think that she was suppose to be like her angel. I look into these things a little too much but that is how I see it.

I wondered at first if she was deaf and mute but we found out that wasn't so. I think she was just silent because she is in shock. I hope her mother survives and Meredith! Can't wait for the show this week!
