I made a post the other day, inviting people to join a website surf junky, only to find out it is a scam. one person replied and said she will try it, and I saw her post today saying she is so angry.. I feel so guilty... I really didn't know it was a scam.
My only intention is to share knowledge to anyone for them to have additional income. I didn't know it will turn up this way.
I am so sorry...

I think it happened to almost everyone. Anyway as long as your conscience is clearn then you don't need to worry about that. You could never say whic is legit and which is not because in just a span of one day everything could happen. I think you should post again and tell him that it wasnt your attentions to refer him to a scam company because you didnt know at all the such website is a scam. Anyway why is he mad at all besides he doesnt lost something very valuable. You could never tell what is what's not until you have tried it. Serve it as an experienced.

Really it was a good comment.Once publiclly if any one apologize for the mistake, then the mistake is not with them. It was an unintential thing and certainly not done wantedly.Hence it can be pardoned.she need not feel so bad
about it.But it is a costly experience andlearned a lesson.
Once again good comment and keep advising the right thing.

its ok friend. to err is human. but self-realisation is one which all humans need to have. you have realised that is very good on your part. by the by no one on earth is hundred percent perfect. if you are hundred percent ferfect there is nothing more to learn. mistakes are stepping stones to perfection.

I don't mean to sound harsh but ensuring that the program pays is the responsibility of the referrer. It's exactly because of attitudes like this (referring others even before doing a decent background check on the program itself) that perpetuates scams! Scams feed off blind referrers. If I were to be referred to a program that does not pay, I would be annoyed as well. As a result of the referrer's irresponsibility, I am made to pay for the time and effort spent.

yep. it's not her fault. but we always feel guilty when we invited someone and later find out that it's a scam. it's like we dragged them into something too risky. and the only thing we can do is apologize. it's still up to them if they will forgive us or not. it's just a guilty feeling.

Well I'm sure you didn't mean harm to anyone but I have one advice that never ever refer someone to a website unless you know it's legit. I am at the moment trying other sites and I could just open a post and say "Good Earning opportunity" and get many posts and get my increment here and as well as get referrals for the site I'm trying. But the thing is why should I make other people waste their time for my cause??? It just isn't right and I would never feel content nor happy. Well if I do manage to earn some cash from those websites then I will definately let the myLot community know of this. Well if you are unsure about any site, you can try asking people here. If you are still unsure and do not know whether they are legit then just try them and if they turn out to be legit then you can tell the whole myLot community and friends about this. Well I hope that my advice helps you out :)

Well, next time you want to recommend a program, make sure that it has paid you, or at least paid someone you trust recently. That's what I always do. I made sure mylot paid me first before getting people to join in here, even though it meant that I lost some potential referrals. At least you won't feel as guilty as you are now.

Well firstly I do feel sorry that you made this big mistake the problem is there are a lot of scams over the internet and unless you are familiar with the sites and you have been paid then I feel that you should not post them on the net not just on mylot, but it is not your fault as you did not know and you are probably only fairly new here, so how where you to know that the site was a scam if you are ever looking for a site that will pay you then by all means go to my profile and message me and I will let you know so that you can earn money I feel really sorry for what happened to you but I know a lot of sites that will genuinely pay you as I have been using the net for over 6 years now.

We all make mistakes.
Please do not be harsh on yourself. Least they know it's a scam and now will probably be careful in the future when it comes to joining sites like surf junky.
Really those who complain are mad at themselfs for being foolish. It's not your fault for believing it either it's the site and the person who joined should know this.
I hope they don't take it out of you.
Kudos!

Tried it but it was a scam mate. If she is angry she should have researched in more before registering. Right? And you have done your part apologizng so I guess that is enough. You did what you have to do. That's it. Don't say that it is the biggest mistake of your life. It's just an honest mistake. So that's it, if she won't forgive you then that is her problem.
We in the Philippines are not so trusting. We just want to earn extra income that is why we bite more than we can chew. Smile. Yokong nakasimangot ka. Papangit ka nyan. Lol :)

I really can't blame you. As I was also looking for additional sites that pays good. I once used a site referred by one of the myLot members and discovered that it was purely scams and a waste of my time. I'm sure we all learned from our mistakes here.

when it comes to online money making sites, i always try it first. if i get paid many times, that's the time i invite people to join. but i don't force anyone. i just share where i earn but no forcing needed.
atleast you apologized to that person. i hope she accepts your apology.

You confessed about your mistake, this is excuseable. I read another similar posting posted by edigital where he said that he feel guilty for a referral of scam sites. I like to add that unless you get paid or until you 200% sure about a site should not refer because people here are for earning have less time to waste on scam sites and killing of others time for your own benefit is hardly excuseable. Though who confess and announce about scam site is brave and we all should forgive them for their simplicity and boldness to make them confessed in front of huge myLot members. Wish good luck to all.

It is very noble of you to publically apologise for this. Most people won't even bother. Besides, I don't think you mean to scam anyone. It's just that you are new to the cyberspace battleground. I am sure you will succeed given a period of time. Who knows, you may be passionate about making true income from online.
