i recently visited a school's administration office for some business and i came upon 3 first year high school students who were "interrogated" by the principal because they were caught by the teacher looking at some "x" material on their phones. huh? where did they get this? from the web? makes you think twice about making the net available to minors!

Well It Might Not Even Be The Net You Need To Be Worried About. Now A-Days, You Will Occasionally See Commercials On TV's Offering Content That Can Be Sent Directly To Your Phones Via Text Message. Once You Being Receiveing Content From Services Like Mentioned, You Can Receive Content From Other Providers Even Though You Didn't Want That Provider's Content, Just The "Ringtone" You Wanted.

It's scary, my laptop is blocked I seem to remember doing it, but I really wonder why kids are allowed into these things, don't their parents realise that their little angel might be curioous and go see?

when my 10 yr old asks my permission to use the laptop to check on his pokemon site, he knows i'm sure to be sitting right next to him to monitor his activities. he doesn't resent it, but he does hates it when i call time out for his usage already.

It's a crazy world and I don't think it's going to be getting any better anytime soon.. Thank God my kids are raised, but now I worry about my granddaughter. Mostly I worry about kid's safety as so many are able to walk around in an excited state. I don't think good comes of any of this stuff..

on the other hand, i don't want to set the computer off limits to them coz, evil as it may seem, the computer is also a lot of help to our modern kids. i just have to be there always whenever they use it so i can see what they're up to. when i'm not home, the laptop stays closed.

cell phones do have internet access now if you pay for it with your plan. The things people can access on the internet these days are rediculous. especially when these particular things can be accessed by younger and younger crowds. I dont know exactly but I am not sure that parents can put parental controls on the internet for cell phones.

there really is no other way to control the situation except to just be physically conspicuous when they're using the computer. i just hate to think of the time when they've grown big enough to follow them around still. sigh!

Internet could be just one of many suspects that we can point out. Then can also get it from other phones right? We can't help it, technology is just improving in a speed that sometimes we can't reach. What we can do is back to basic, teach our children from the very start about morals and good conduct. Show them essence of being responsible person and help them to evaluate the good from the bad. Guide them through their struggles to become a better man. Its the things that technology can't alter.
