coach carter i think is by far the best basketball movie. it shows that basketball is very hard. it needs training and hardwork. you cant just win by yourself but youll win as a team. after watching youll be very determined (if only you are a basketball player) to play and practice harder. you'll also learn how education is very important.

For me, coach carter became one of my favorite movies because it doesn't just talk about basketball, it teaches the viewers how to balance sports and studies. the film not only limits its viewers to basketball fans but also to every teen and adult as well. It's an inspirational story both for students and teachers. Two thumbs up for coach carter!

i also love this movie.. i've watched it several times, i also cried. and there's so many lessons that i've learned from this. i also have my favorite line, when coach carter asked timo cruz what is his deepest fear, and he answered, " are deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Are deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our life, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

The message that Coach Carter sent to all the kids in that school really made a point, that a person should know how to abide laws and regulations while they are still young and not just be physically fit but also mentally fit in any game you should compete into. The message is not just for basketball but to all sports or events in our daily lives.

i truly love this movie so much, it really has a learning lesson to all on how education will promote your life when you grew up and the concern of a basketball coach to his players to their future.. it's not all the fame that the coach wants them to achieve but a lasting knowledge that will put them into good places not in prison.

Aside from being a basketball movie, coach carter also has a lot to say about hard work, discipline and determination. It sends out a strong message especially to the youth that education is vital if we want to have a voice--that we have to balance every aspect of our life and not just focus on one thing.
