Are you afraid to be a passenger in a car!

I have this nightmare that I can't control. I can go as far as the end of the world if I am driving a car, but as a passenger no way. I am afraid that the driver I am with hits the car in front of us. I have tried many times to control the surge to cry or shout at the driver to stop when the car in front of us stops. I simply can't control myself! Not even with my husband.
I was not always like this. I used to be very much afraid of dogs but now that I overcame that, suddenly I have become very much afraid of being a passenger in a car. It's like I always have to be too afraid of something!
Have you experienced this? Are you afraid of something and you simply can't control yourself?

Well, I used to be a passenger, but these days, I am the driver. As a passenger, I did have the habit of stepping on the brake when the driver drove a little too fast. My reaction was not that obvious.

I've heard once that a phobia is replaced by another phobia. I understand how you feel as a passenger, lately I've been feeling like you. However I am most afraid of cats! They really scare me .. I hate how they look and sound. I wish I'd overcome this phobia because I see cats everywhere and they really scare me. Good Luck with yours ;)

It took a little time to get used to my wifes driving, however I think it was more that I was worried about the other drivers bad habits not hers. I think we all have little fears that we must overcome. That is what makes life more enjoyable.
Good luck friend,
