whats a computer without internet?

I think the computer is extremely limited if you don't have access to the internet. You can always play installed games on your computer, but if you get stuck you would have to buy the players guide when you could just go online and look up a walkthrough for it.

While I think today computer without intranet is a very dumb thing specially if we don't have some special work on it. Most of the time we use a computer to surf the net or to do some activity which is very much related to using the Internet. And it is very much prominent that due to this reason the broadband connection is very common in even the speed is increasing everywhere I still remember hardly one or one and half years ago I was totally dependent on the dial up connection and I got so irritated due to the slow speed. And not to mention the huge amount of the telephone bill I used to get for just surfing half an hour. But now the broadband connection computers have was connected to the Internet and the two are a lot of things on the net which includes responding to the discussions on my lot.

Internet is a Great invention also. But Compute is a very Nice Tech for our Lives. Now a Days we can use it in every Way of life. From Home to Educational Areas, Offices, Fieldworks, Communications in Every important prospect of Life. Entertainment is also a Big Big + Point from PC.

Without internet now my computer is almost useless. Years ago I wouldve answered differently but nowadays, almost every application/program/game is on the net or need internet to use full version. With chat, online games, forums, websites my computer without internet is not the same.

Computr is an incomplete accessory without internet like its simply of no use because internet is its major part.

I don't think you can fully appreciate a computer without the internet. I use it for 80% of what I do on the computer. The computer does have many functions on its own though. I use the word processor, music player, dvd player and for graphics. There's also games.

I think it is a very good tool for use as a processor of information and as a spread sheet and many other tools the internet just allows us to search and add information quicker.

There are other uses of computers aside from using it for internet purposes. You can use it to play games, do spreadsheets, documentation, for business purposes... etc. You see computers are not only limited in internet.

There are lots of work that can be done even if it doesnt have an internet connection. For eg. it is used nowadays for accounts keeping, Also for storing data like in BPO's.. And the list of examples continues if we think deeply into the matter.. SO it still posesses that much importance without internet

I think a computer without internet is like a car without a frontwindow. sure it can drive but it doesn't make much fun. but without a firewall and virusscanner it's like a car without frontwindow and without a top in rain ^^ not even a bit of fun.

I can't see using computer without internet. The internet is what makes it a usable computer. What good do you get from a computer just for games or writing letters I would not consider a computer without some form of internet connection. The higher speed of the internet the better but any kind of internet is better than no internet.
