I was thinking about how it has been going on and on about what companies can do to stop the rate at which the earth is heating up....but what are you personally doing to help out? I'm sure of everyone did something towards the cause we wouldn't be where we are now. I have to adjmmit I am guilty, I have not started anything major besides recycling but that is another topic altogether. So please share your ideas and aybe we could save our home planet....

I have decided to help all I can in the matter of global warming.
Here is my proposal - I will be as quick as I possibly can while lighting my smokes. That way I am not unnecessarily heating the air.
Who knows, if enough people join me in this endeavor, we could possibly stave of this whole global warming debacle by a couple of minutes.
Probably not, but in these times where symbolism over substance rules eternal, perhaps the symbolism will win out and the hysteria without substance will die down.
Come on people, global warming is not caused by man but is in fact a natural part of the earth's life cycle. It warms, it cools, regularly and repeatedly. It goes from Ice Age to Temperate all by itself with neither help or hindrance from man.
It is not a result of man, it is nature itself.
I don't care what any irresponsible scientists say or Hollywood or Al Gore either.
Ease off the koolaid just a little bit.

One volcano puts out more ash and pollution than all of mankind could produce in 100 years.
How many eruptions have we had in recent years?
It's not irresponsible to look at the facts and the reality of the situation.
Al Gore may have his book, and his slide show, and those scientists may have made their claims of impending doom, but for all of their research, they refuse to look any farther than man's involvement. They refuse to take into account the natural forces in play.
As for those greenhouse gases, there is actual evidence that shows that the CO2 increase is a RESULT of the cooling, and NOT the cause.
In the words of the report, it would be the same as saying "Lung Cancer Causes Smoking".
The report also named Al Gore personally along with several media reporters and personalities as irresponsible for deliberately perpetuating this state of panic.
It goes on to say that the science is "bunk" and inaccurate.
The reports also had many links to support it's condemnation of those liars.
Nearly everyone has fallen for this "Man is responsible" BS, and yet you say I am ignorant?
We have all been lied to.

It is my oppinion that we shouldn't worry about global warming because it most likely will not have a serious effect on us in our lifetime. The future is not really that important if we won't be around for it, eh?

I think that's a bad approach to the entire situation, don't you worry about your children and grandkids, or the possiblity that their world will be very different to the one you live in!!!! I think it's that kind of attitude that is killing our planet and we are all to blame for not bothering to think about the consequences of our actions!!!! thanks for reponding...oh and welcome to Mylot!!!!! have fun!!!!

Well, if they are talking about limiting carbon emissions, I'm going to make all the trips to everywhere I ever wanted to go and turn up my thermostat so I can get warm before it is mandated that it be turned down.

That is such a bad attitude, i can't believe that the responses I have had so far are showing what a terrible society we are and how we don't care what we do to the world we call home!!! if you do get to do all your travelling the you had better enjoy it while you can because you aren't going to have a chance later to do so....all you will have are your holiday photos to look back on and ofcourse the regrets of what you have done.....thanks for responding though
