Lima beans, one of my mother's favorite veggies, she made it at least twice a week and we had to eat everything on our plate.

Seems brussel sprouts is a common veggie for many to dislike! I wonder if you put them in a casserole type dish if they would be edible? Sometimes you can hid flavor with cheeses and such.

The one veggie that I absolutely refuse to eat is cauliflower. I do not like this veggie at all. I do not like the taste plus it is hard to swallow. If I see it on my plate, it will just stay there or will give it to someone else to eat. :-)

Is garlic a veggie? Absolutely disgusting! Onions, when cooked. Avocados (tried only once but got enough for my lifetime). And cooked swedish (or russian) turnip, according my dictionary called rutabaga in America, but I like it very much raw.

You hate peas, I can remember in elementary school one day a week they would serve this nasty ugly foul smelling green pea soup. If you think peas alone are bad, oh - the soup is 100 times worse. The nuns would stand in the lunch room with that big long ruler that they would hit you with and if you didn't eat that soup you got it good. To this day I can eat peas if i had to but I could never touch the pea soup ever again. Damn soup.

I love to take vegetables as my dish daily. I love all vegetables except bamboo shoot. You know almost all chinese like to eat bamboo shoot but for me not. I hate the nasty smell of it. Whenever my family take bamboo shoot I will stay far away. LOL:)

LOL... must be interesting since your family eats bamboo shoot and you don't! I'm not a huge fan of it either but sometimes I can eat it.

Beets! They have to be the nastiest substance on this earth. They smell funny and have a disgusting texture. My mother used to force me to eat them when I was a child. I always managed to get them down, but I hated every moment of it. The very sight of beets turns my stomach to this day. Yuk!

I just had to comment blueskies. That's too cute!! I absolutely love beets in any way!! Cooked with butter or cold on salads. You're not the only one of my friends that also hates them! Most of my friends think I'm weird cuz I love them so much!! We were raised on beets, and we never knew any different until we grew up and found out how many people hate them too!! Loved your response!! Thanks for the laugh and smile :)

I have a somewhat small list of veggies I don't like. I don't like cooked peas, but I like fresh peas. I also absolutely detest lima beans! The others are, okra (eeewww), garbonzo beans and kidney beans. I can't stand the flavor or texture of any of them....Eeeewww... :)

Mushrooms. I hate those slimy little things, and for the life of me, can't figure out why some people think they are so special.
If I order something by mistake that ends up having mushrooms in it, I spend most of the dinner hour picking the gooey mess out before I eat my meal.
