Do you like watching Food Network's Barefoot Contessa?

I never used to watch her show till recently. I was so accustomed to Rachael and Paula that Emeril and Ina Garten's shows were far behind. From the past few months I've been watching her shows too and she is pretty good. I haven't tried any of her recipes yet.

My husband loves to watch her cook. She does use alot of butter and other fatty ingredients. But she makes food that we all would want to eat. Not like some of those cooking shows where they prepare something you can't even pronounce.

im a big fan of this show... i have most of her cookbooks and the recipes are for the most part really easy to make. you can omit some of the fancy/expensive ingredients or substitute lower cost ones and it's great. I especially love her ginger snap cookies, cheesecake, chicken and biscuts, sauteed zuccini, and beef bourginon recipes.
