Will you respond a discussion even if it's already "Best response" marked one?

I find some discussions with the "Best response" already selected by the user. This some time times makes you prejudiced & disappointing. I still go for adding my response to it without any hesitation or change in my opinion. I take it for granted that we didn't attend the competetion, hence I don't bother the previously selected winner. What about you? Do you quit without replying to it?

Oh Yeh! A true and a frank opinion always represents your expression skill, your nature and the IQ level too. Your determination will take you to a success tomorrow. My words like "thanks" won't balance your participation, I look too faint in thanking you!

Yes, because I respond to a discussion because I think it's interesting and because I want to. Going for a "best response" isn't why I partake in dicussions on mylot. If I'm given a 'best response," I'm happy about it. But it doesn't stop me from joining in a dicussion if it's already been given.

Your attitude only awarded you the rating & reputation which is well can be seen in the twinkling red star! I like this kind of people. Though my thanking can't repay your valued contribution over here, I still thank you!

I respond to discussion because I like to share my opinion, and having the best response already chosen doesn't take that away. So yes I respond if I want to respond no matter what. really the only thing that keeps me from responding is if after reading all the other responses I find that someone has already said exactly what I was going to say. I don't want to respond just for the sake of responding. I enjoy getting chosen as best response but that is not my driving force here.

That's the spirit! A great attitude and approach towards the situation. I already have an experience of your responces, You are exactly the same, as you said it here. All users can take your advise as a guideline in future. Thanks for the esteemed reply.

Sure I still answer posts that have been marked with a "best response". Just because a response has been chosen does not mean that I do not have a meaningful answer that can contribute to the discussion. I will still respond.

That's like a sharp shooter. This should be the confidence level about their views and thoughts. I appreciate your nature. Thanks for the response.

I never see if any discussion is marked best or not. It does not interest me at all. If disucssion is intelligent and I feel I can write something on this particular subject , I start writing. But I don't know if the person who has already chosen the best, cares to read what we are writing because his interest is already gone from such discussions. well does not matter, I will write for may satisfaction. If writing is making me happy, it does not matter if reading is not important for someone.

If there is a discussion has already rated a best response it doesn't stop me from responding because I like to give my opinion and so it doesn't effect me if a discussion already has a best response dictated.

It's really not a big thing if a user has already chosen a best response. Personally, I answer because I have something that I want to share. Besides, this has never hindered me from voicing out my opinion to the world. It may not be the best thing but who knows, someone else might be able to pick up and learn something from my story... Honestly, being labeled as the "best" is just a perk... what's important is that I was able to help someone in my own little way. This, I think, is the most fulfilling thing that I can get from here. =)

I reply to all posts that interest me whether they have already had their "Best Response" taken or not. I kind of enjoy writing responses to people, but even more than that I want to make a little bit of money. I don't care if I am the "Best Response" or not.

Well I do have to say oarnamav that before stumbling across your discussion I was one who rarely posted my responses to discussions where the best response has already been chosen. But there are differences in "when" I actually do and do not respond if best response is already chosen... If I intentionally search a topic that came to mind and run across a relevant topic already in discussion, even it if it is 4 years old (this one is) and already has the best response denoted- I will still post my opinion/reply. \ BUT If a discussion was started say 21 hours ago- and best response is already chosen when maybe only two or three mylotters have responded...I usually bypass those. I think its unfair and most should allow at the very least one week before choosing best response, if chosen at all. I have some unresolved discussions, some because there are very few responses, others because i just don't feel like closing that discussion out because I am looking for more relevant answers/reply/comments to that particular topic.

yes sometimes i answer to discussions even if the best response was market already!!In reality depends from discussions but inn general i always give my view in a discussion also becaus ei nver answer to a discussion thinking about the best response so it is not a goal or something give me more motivation!!In reality when i open a discussion after sometimes i give the best response...but in some cases there are users give a ood response after i chose my best so i thnk it cna be useful give your opinion without counting too much about best response choice!!
