We are all interdependent on each other. Think of a cotton shirt. Who grew the cotton? Who made the parts for the machine to pick the cotton and then process it. Who wove the cloth, dyed it and then stitched it together. The list could go on but the point is we are interdependent on all of humanity. Celebrate it and don't be so consumed by your own ego that you believe you don't depend on others. Be happy to be part of the community of man.

i am by nature very independent..
i dont know why i avoid the iidea of depending from others.. at the age of 17 i started to support my own, my father will be begging to give me the help but i rather have my way of finding money and working partime to meet my needs... i told him to keep his money for future investments especially the medical needs he got..
in my work or in my school, its always a reverse for people when they see me they abuse because they know they can depend on me, almost all are dependent and i dont get it.. they rather not do a thing and will wait for me to do it.. its a lazy thing and its not healthy..
i rather be independent and will have the reliability to my own, and not giving the responsibilities ii have to myself and passing it to others..
^_^ take care..

No individual is an island. I mean one cannot survive without help from others. So anyone must depend other in order to lead his life happily. For instance, when you are a little schooler, you need your parent to provide you food and shelter and education. When you leave school and go to work, you need your co-workers to help you with your work. Whey you are down, you need your family to cheer you up.

Hi, I'm very much independant, I run my own business and have depended very much on myself for at least the last 20 odd years! I've got to a point now that I don't think I could depend on anyone else as I feel I would be letting myself down!

I used to be over-independent I think. Over time I've learned to depend on others and that doing so won't always result in me being hurt. I was proud to be so independent in my youth and I felt like I could do anything but life and experience has shaken my confidence and I do feel more dependent on those I love, in return I value these people in my life more than ever.
