Im not big on fur it has never attracted me and I honestly think it would make me itch. I've seen a video of animals being skinned alive and no way could I wear fur it breaks my heart. How can someone be so cruel to do that to an innocent animal?

Your welcome. I know so many people who think wearing fur means they are rich and all this stuff I hope they see the light one day.

there are many organizations against animal slaughter for fur. One of them is the add on Discovery. It says that the antelope population has been diminishing in great number due to high market demand. They're right,it is in our hands to save animals from extinction. Let's stop buying fur and leather clothes. There's no supply when there's no demand from us.

I think that as long as no animal was killed for the fur, then it's good. Also, as long as no animal suffered in the cold, then we're good :) I'm not overly sensitive of the matter - it's just that we should be doing any unnecessary damage to anyone or anything :) I love animals too, but I don't mind eating them as long as I'm quite certain that no body played with my food when it was being butchered.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

If i was in a field just eating and pooping and animals drove cars and took the subway im sure they would shoot me and wear my skin, think how cool a giraffe would look calling a cab with a floppy human body wrapped around its neck ! ..maybe you should be happy we dont let giraffes in cabs

Well it depends, what fur is that. Where is it from.
Let me show you why I hate so much to holding animals just for the fur.

Hi ebrendax, clothes with the beauty and fluffy furs designed on them of certain animals are really fascinating and attractive. These are what I have seen many celebrities put on when reading the magazines and watching the tv programs. All of them are very stylish and expensive as well. I think fur is not suit for people who live in the tropical countries as the weather here is hot all the year round. That is why we could hardly find any at the windows of the outlets here. We could see a few of them only hanging in the winter clothes department in the hypermarket or in ladies’ fashion outlet in the shopping mall.
I am allergic to animal fur so I don’t keep any animal like cat and dog as my pet. So I definitely won’t put on animal fur. I prefer to see the original fur growing on animals’ more than that on humans’. What’s more it is a great pity to see animal die because human hunting for their fur for making money.
Happy posting and have a nice day.

I love fur, although on the animal and not a human I must admit. This conversation came up last night as I went out in a fake fur coat that people thought was real. I love my animals too much to even think about wearing their skin!

I'm totally against the idea of wearing fur, especially when there are so many alternatives ---every time I see a person wear a fur coat, I can't help thinking..and wanting to say to the person..hey do you know how many animals had to be killed for your vanity..cause that is what it is...and if people knew just how animals were killed for that fur coat, I would hope it would make them ashamed of themselves----even the animals who are raised in "farms" aren't killed any more humanely.

I also love animals and can see no good reason for anyone to wear fur. There are so many other available options, including fake fur, that I don't see the necessity. Of course, it is the sme with leather, and I wish theywould develop more options for shoes, especially winter boots that look smart but aren't leather.
