Have you ever played a joke on your friends or family? Did this cause you to fall out with them? I put up a big banner outside my friends house a few years ago saying 'Happy 40th Birthday' She was only 27 at the time - She was not amused to say the least although now she is 40 she does see the funny side of it!

Awwwwwwww... there have been so many, I can't remember them all, but one that stands out in my mind, because somebody else joined in was that my friend and I went to the pub one evening, and she was in a silly mood. lol. We agreed we would play this game, guessing what style of underwear all the fellas that came into the pub wore! lol. We had pen and paper, and proceeded to write their names and styles down, as we imagined them. A couple of hours into the evening and a guy came in with his common law wife, who couldn't help noticing we were laughing and writing... we had the right giggles. She just couldn't resist coming and asking us what we were up to, so we told her. With that, she said, "I'll be back in a minute.", and disappeared. She worked with a vet, and did a lot of dog grooming and stuff. Anyway, about twenty minutes later, she came back to the pub, fished in her pockets and came out with three pairs of surgical gloves. ohhhhhhhhh ha ha ha. It was soooo funny! She said, "Now we don't have to guess, we can have a look." lol. I reckon that was a good idea, because the way we were doing it, we had to go and check with the guys whether we were right or not. ha ha ha. Some denied wearing any at all, which I suppose was where the gloves would have come in handy. Anyway, I'll never forget that, because she turned the prank around and played it back on us! It was a great laugh and we chuckled about it for over a month, every time a male walked into the pub. I hope you enjoyed that! ha ha ha Brightest Blessings, my friend.

Thats so funny and brought a huge smile to my face - I'm gonna try that the next time I go to the pub - although might get arrested for trying to see if we guessed correct! Thank you for sharing this with me!!

I would have to say that the bast prank that we ever pulled was on our neighbors/friends. They had gone on vacation for a week to Arizona in August. While they were away we decorated the entire outside of their house for Christmas. We had spiral Christmas trees, light up reindeer, all the bushes lit, the windows all had lights in them, and we had all the "blow up" figures. They arrived home (in a cab) at around 10 at night. We had the whole house lit, we even had Christmas music playing. The best part about this whole thing is that they don't decorate for Christmas!

They were quite amused! It was a great night. The cabby's face was worth the whole thing.

hahaha that is cruel, but ever so funny. I think the best one we did was with a very heterosexual male friend of mine. Going in to a public house with him where he wasnt known and telling everyone that he wasnt gay, inspite of all the romours that may have been circulating. It took him a good hour to work out how to deny it, so much fun, blessed be

Very amusing! I wonder if I can copy what you did just to see the reaction on my friend's face. She'll most probably hate me for now and laugh with me later when we get older!lol! I use to play all sorts of pranks on my college classmates. The list is long but I can tell one. Some of my classmates carry backpacks, and I use to tie the packs into the chairs without their knowledge. My usual victims are my seat mates. In high school I was taught how to make different kinds of knots, and my college classmates find it very hard to undo my knots!lol! I usually do it right before we go home or before we go to another class. And when I do, I'm usually the first one out of the door. And I find it really amusing when some of them were not sure whether or not to accuse me because of my "innocent" face!lol!

Lol very good that sounds like fun! We used to tie peoples shoe laces together but usually ended up with someone falling over and getting hurt! Not so funny then! Thanks for your response!

I honestly don't remember any. Awhile back i used to do them all the time and some was very stupid. like a time my brother and i went on waltzers awhle back and i pretended to have a fit. (not the best thing and i have regretted ever since) Honestly i was hyper and foolishly this isn't someone i often did i fact most of my pranks in the past was basic. I've pulled a few good one's off. Like on a course i used to do at school, a friend and i used to wind one of the care workers up. (as joke) we told him that someone drove off with his robin reliant when actaully another care worker moved it for him to another car park space behind the main building. (they did ask us to tell but erm.. yes young minds do play times) Again this wasn't very nice thing to do. I did laugh because it was honestly funny at the time, he nearly dialed 999!!! (it was my other freinds fault tho) he's the devil. kudos... I'll leave pranks to my son in the future =) ~Joey

i loved playing pranks at college, and my friends would get caught 'coz they would giggle but i would be sitting with a serious face and absolutely attentive! i mean, for a short while, till my professors got to see beyond my innocent (?) face ...

It must be great to be able to keep a straight innocent face - I'm absolutely useless at that and before they've found the prank they know something is up!

That is really a good one.I've had a few pranks and jokes played on me.....but never one that really upset me.I think it's sad when people let a joke get in the way of a friendship.I always figure as long as nobody gets hurt and nothing gets broken....it's all in good fun.Besides getting even can be a lot of fun as well.

I did once and it was to my husband. We were supposed to meet after work in a bar and he didn't show up so I was mad. I went home and at the same time he showed up at the bar looking for me. He called home to see if I was there and I didn't answer the call. So he went panic, calling the hospitals but he can't call the police because he has to wait 48 hrs for missing person report. Finally he got home, all tired and upset only to find out I was having a bath! He was so mad he slept on the sofa. The next morning he told me not to do that again and I said Ok since he looked so serious. Well shouldn't he just go home and make the calls from there? hehehe

I would have thought he would have gone home first to make sure you weren't there? Good one has it stopped him being late though?
