I try to, but lately for the past three years I have been blaming God for the problems I've been encountering such as having to survive for money, having problems with teenage daughter, not being able to drive no more.

I believe in GOD and not because that is what I was trained to do. I have a genuine belief that if I pray to HIM that HE will help me. I also believe in prayer and I attend church once a week.

sigh I just posted a well thought out response which has disappeared into the cosmos. Maybe a higher pwoer didn't like my answer? ;)
I just read a great quote
"God Needs to be freed from religion."
surprisingly enough that was Sinead O'Connor, but in this case ,. and perhaps others I agree with her.
I just saw Deepack Choprah talking about religion being outdated, and again I agree. Things we needed hundreds of years ago a explanations we may not need today.
So I guess my answer is Yes I believe in the infinite, or God if you prefer, but No I do not believe in religion.

I don't believe in God. I was brought up to and went to Sunday school and was christened. My Dad made me say prayers every night. However he lost his faith and didn't make me do it any more, but I still did until I was in my teens and then I was questioning a lot of different aspects of life and religion was one thing that seemed to far fetched to be true. I am much more of a scientific thinker and need proof to believe something is true, which religion doesn't have.
