I have seen heavy weight wrestling on TV on many ocassions I felt that these people are cheating the viewers .The bouts shows severe violence can anyone go through it & still be alive?.Usually they show a guy recieving all the blows but in most cases he gives the final blow & wins the match.Further I feel that such exhibition of violence only spoils the minds of those watching.I would like to know your reactions of such shows & the effects of it on the children.

I think you need to understand what you're seeing. Actually, the dangers of guys that size doing athletic moves like that is something people tend to miss. A 200+ pound man, flying through the air, has every chance of doing some severe damage to himself, because of gravity alone. If injured, those moves become even more dangerous. You're not watching theatre, as far as the actual moves are concerned. Gymnasts would have trouble with some of the moves.
You can "fall properly", but anyone who's ever done martial arts or any kind of fall training will tell you that sometimes you just don't fall properly. That these guys don't regularly kill themselves, let alone anyone else, is pretty miraculous.
Injuries are common, and "don't try this at home" was coined by the wrestling business, decades ago. Have a look at the intro, and you'll see the message they're trying to get across.
If you don't want to see violence, why watch? Nobody's making people watch wrestling.
Effects on people's minds and children: we're currently in a very violent world. Why is this so much worse than the news, or the law and order shootouts, or the net?
You could criticize the dramatization, but as they say, it's entertainment, with some added reality components. By the same standards, virtually everything on prime time would be unsuitable for anybody.
The fights are often interesting, and the moves are pretty difficult. Watch anything Brett Hart or any of the other more technical wrestlers has ever done, and you'll see another side to wrestling. Try watching more than the storylines.
Boxing, by the way, does regularly kill and brain damage people, and never gets the same level of criticism as wrestling. Double standard?

True as you said it is entertainment with some reality components.Further there is no compulsion to watch as one has a choice. But thought to write about the same as it contains lot of drama & one gets a feeling are they taking the spectators for granted.
