My dad and I were reading the bible tonight. After reading we tried to name all Jesus's disciples without looking. Who can name all 12 disciples without looking them up?

How many of them did you come up with before you looked them up? I think I know all 12 without looking them up, but I might be wrong on one or two. For instance I know Thaddeus was a disciple but he also went by another name. I'm leaning towards Jude or Judas being the other name but am not positive of that. The ones I know for sure are: 2 Simons, 1 just Simon the other Simon Peter. 2 James, 1 the brother of John and another John Andrew Thomas Judas Matthew Phillip Bartholomew and Thaddeus Or was Thaddaeus really someone other than Jude by his other name? I'm not sure...but I'm pretty sure if I add Jude to the list I got them all. That was a pretty tough question. It took me a while to come up with 2 of them. I will have to look them up now to see if I was right.

I didn't get very many. My dad even got stuck on one of them. I was considering, Mark and Luke, I quess because of the books they wrote. That really got my attention just how much of the bible I don't know. Make me realize I don't as much as I thought I knew. But I thought this was a good challege. It get our minds to thinking don't it? Have a great night!

Peter, Paul, John, John the Baptist, Judas, Mark, Luke, Matthew, ....Arggg. I'm stuck now. I was on a roll, and then just went blank. Now I am going to have to go and check. I think it is neat that you were reading the Bible with your dad. Families need to spend more time doing this together. God Bless.
