what things are famous of your hometown..?

I live in a small town. There are about 500 people in the zip code. The only thing that comes to mind is there is a man made lake about a 25 minute drive from here. They purchased all the land in the valley, built a dam and flooded it. There are still houses and everything in it. They did it to create a tourist attraction. Sorry I did not have anything more exciting to tell you.

My hometown actually has quite a few famous things. We have Old Tucson Studios where many movies have been made over the years. It is also a huge tourist attraction. There is the Desert Museum, the Sahuaro National Monument, Colossal Caves, Biosphere 2, Kitt Peak National Obsevatory, and Sabino Canyon. Famous people who are from here or live here are Linda Ronstadt, teddy Bruschi, Steve Kerr, John Denver, Stephen Baldwin, Barbara Eden, and Greg Kinear. Of course the most famous thing about my hometown is that I was born there.
