There is times when i think im going to quit taking part in this program. I seem to be getting bored out with some of the discussions and i cant even come up with any of my own. I was answering all my friends discussions so i wouldn't have to deal with the nonsense of repeat discussions but this only gets me about .50 cents a day. I feel like my discussions are boring and i dont get that many responses so i just think whats the use. I do answer new discussions, i just have a hard time finding any that i can make a good response with. Im not sure yet what i want to do, I just wandered if you ever feel like this and how do you over come it.

No, dont quit for I see you still have a highest rating even you said you cant come up with good ideas. Maybe it is only now that you cant come up with good ideas but maybe you can still if you have that good mood to post good idea. Mylot is the best way to pass time and you can earn a little and get the other people here deas.

Yes, I have felt this way on and off. I do not make .50 cents a day. After a number of months, I'm at $4.14 and it went down from $4.23..I do not know what would cause to go down?
Right now, you might want to stick with the areas that interest you the most.
I'm trying to respond at to at least one post from each friend.

Yeah i appreciate your responses on my discussions. I do know who my good friends are and i think you are one of them. Im sorry though if i get boring. I read discussions about earning dropping and found out that this happened because if you reply to a discussion that is against mylot rules they took the money away for that response or discussion.

I know kind of thought of quitting also, I feel like I'm dumb and nobody wants to respond to my discussions. But I'm always optimistic on things, I would still give myself a chance and exert more patience if needed. I also cleaned some of my friends list, I deleted some of those who are not so helping and would try go and look for others that are more open-minded members. I've gotten tired of answering to their posts and deleting it on my e-mails, maybe they are just that inconsiderate to understand and think of others.
So don't lose hope yet, maybe a change of your friend's list would do. We may never know what else would be instore for all of us here in the future!')

Don't leave me all alone ~ Blink 182 =)
Really if you quit this place i would miss you. You think your discussions are boring? please!! i think we all think this at times. i know i have and sometimes i wished i never started them =)
I didn't get many responses at times, again i think we all do. some people are loyal and will drop by and thats what matters. i love reading your discussion and i like adding my replies. I try to post to as many which i can but some i find that i can't type a decent reponse. (this has nothing to do with you)
Please don't quit. I'd really miss you :)

I agree with you that it is very hard to keep motivated to respond to discussions when they are all repeating topics and not very interesting to begin with.
What I do is sometimes take a break from the site for a day or so and then come back and think of the money and answer as much as I possibly can. This stops me getting so bored.

I tried at first to set goals for myself and see how much money i could make but i can't reach my goals. I have been away from mylot for a couple of days now taking a break and i do want to keep trying but i still can't concentrate. I think its just me and i will work on this some more. Maybe i will snap out of it soon. Thanks for your help.

Ooh - goodie - a discussion that still doesn't already have a best response selected right after someone repsonded to it.
You get some good days in which you can find lots to give good responses in, & you get bad days in which all you can do is surf the place & not find anything good.
Anyway, I usually also start with my firends' discussions. Being that several people in my friends list are a group that had come together on another forum before assembling here, I cannot afford to quit.

Yeah - that's true about friends. I had started on MyLot before they added that thingie where you can add friends to your profile, but I came along with a group of maybe 5 or 6, including my upline, from another place we also assemble at. I also met some new friends here.

I have felt thatw ay too. Then the new topics comne up and everything is good again. As for the lower payments I guess I just deal with it. As long as they keep paying then I'm not going to complain.

yes i too feels like that sometimes, but HOPE is the the pushing factor for me . mylot is allwing us to refer more people and get 25% of what they earns , i think your success is related to more people doing little little in your network

You feel bored because the reason you joined Mylot is for the money only. Try to answer discussions which you think can help the person who started the post. Or just create a post when you think you have something to rant about. Treat mylot as a stress releaser and not as your income generator.

I think the same. I am bored about same type of discussions. what hurt me more that, whatever good discussions i start i get very few responses. But i have seen here that some discussions not so interesting has got so many responses.

I've been going through the same thing the past week or so. I haven't really thought about quitting but it is getting harder and harder to find new and fresh discussions to respond to. I have just cut back how much time I spend here. I am not going to come even close to cashout this month unless I go on a respoding spree in the next 2 weeks.

ei, don't quit...just keep on going. just let your thought come out naturally. Don't pressure yourself. you just have to be yourself...just express everything you have in mind, no matter what it is. I guess, it's more interesting to talk about reality...observe everything around you and i'm sure you'll get something more interesting to talk about. But don't quit!! quitting is not a good idea.

I agree with you, and I am feeling exactly what you are feeling. After you sit and think and create a nice reply or nice discussion, you are either paid less or have no responses. obiviously you start feeling bored. Don't undergrade yourself, this is happening to many people here. It is your choice now, stay or quit.....do what you feel better. If you care only for good responses, then join yahoo answers, there if you ask a question, within few seconds you will see responses flowing in. But they don't pay. now choice is yours.

Get rid of the attitude or get out of our way! Complaining is an abusive use of Mylot, and you need to try something else and leave the rest of us to discuss interesting and serious matters. Take your keyboard and take a hike!

everyone has a story to tell. why don't we use mylot as an online collection of stories ala chicken soup for the soul?
instead of asking, we tell people our story. and people reply also in their story.
this should be interesting. doesn't it?
