How much do you carry in your handbag?

in my handbag i always have my wallet , phone , comb , lip balm & gloss , facial compact , facial tissues , keys , antibacterial hand cream , pen , rainy days - umbrella & mint gum . just enough size handbag appropriate for ofc . . if more things needed to brings i'll get a much bigger shoulder bag that can carry any extra items .

Lol well let's just open up the purse and have a looksie...I have money, gift cards, my check card, some id cards, my drivers liscense, a pencil, some candy wrappers (lol), my check book, I have those little things that go over your eyes when you go tanning, I have receipts, I have coupons, I have a little green bracelet, a hair tye, and a broken keychain. Haha I could get rid of a lot of this stuff!

That is alot of stuff to carry. I just carry my wallet with my ID'S and money,checkbook.blistex,and a few personal items. I carry kind of a small purse.

I used to carry almost that much stuff, and a lot of things that are on your list. I had so much stuff in, my purse that the straps would make red marks on my shoulder. My purse weighed at least 8 to 10 pounds. I bet it weighed more than that. Well then I started carrying a little bag to carry into the store and left my purse in the car. It just seemed silly to do that, so I just left the giant heavy purse at home still filled with all of the things I felt was important, and only carried the little purse. I still do that to this day, and when I go to a friends house I carry them both. It looks funny, but one is for going to the store, and the other is for being at my friends homes, etc... Crazy, I think, but it makes me feel like I have everything I need. My friends make jokes about it.

The trouble with me is that I hoard things (like pamphlets given out at shopping cnetres etc) and then have to make a special effort to clean out my bag, so I do carry a lot of unecessary junk that I shouldn't. A brush and perfume is probably unecessary too, but I do carry them around in my bag all the time. Also, instead of carrying the ONE lipstick, I end up carrying two or three. I don't really have room for a spare pair of shoes though!

Well, I carry what my friends consider a small handbag, but here is what is inside: wallet, cell phone, everyday prescriptions, ibuprofen, extra lighter, lip balm, 3 or 4 pens, address book, contact eyedrops, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, mints and gum, rolaids, travel size deodorant, and perfume. That's it. It all fits in a very small sized purse. My friends carry books (novels), CDs, make-up, washcloths, pretty much everything but the kitchen sink... And I thought I was bad!

lol...it is a funny discussion.for me ,i do not like to carry many things in my handbag.so i often take the key,the wallet,the tissue,the mirror,the pan and a notepad,that's all.i would not like to carry the makeup at all.

I am more like your friends.I carry a lot in my purse. I have a huge purse. I have a brush, tissues,pencil and note pad,pain killers,mirror,bus schedules,lip balm, wallet, rain bonnet,gum,and a pouch for my bus tranfers.

Oh, I carry some of those junks in my bag, too. Ballpens, notebook, toilet paper, a spare shopping bag, umbrella, id cards, some pieces of paper, lots of cards, and some candies. I find some use for them whenever I go out someplace.

i dont carry much in my purse, usually: my wallet, keys, ipod, phone (when i got it) lip gloss, dental floss, hand sanatizer, gum, hmmm i think thats about it!

i always use this big Nike body bag with the following in it: cellphone, keys, card holder, umbrella, coin purse (i don't have a wallet) ^^, external hard drive and sony psp. that's about it. it takes up only a little space in the bag but i want to have extra room for other things that i might be buying on the way home. ^___^

well i just carry my wallet.few dry n wet tissues, address book n a pen my rollon perfume. business cards.few imp bills.my mobile n my ipod and loke to keep my handbag lite is its easy to carry.......
