What next?

After watching last nights episode of SVU I am wondering where Christopher Meloni, Elliot's story line is headed. Will he return to his family and leave the SVU? Will his wife even take him back? Is Christopher planning to leave the show completely?
What are you thoughts?

It should be interesting to see how it plays out, I would like to see him back with his family and happy for a while. Let someone else on the case go off the deep in for awhile.*laughing*

Hope not!! I like the characters of Olivia and Benson, their characters seemed to gel. I also secretly think that there will be romance involved between Stabler and Olivia but only if their characters are both unattached. It sort of deviates them from the character they portray.
Whatever happened to Olivia's mother? Was her mother really abused? Is Olivia a product of that abuse?

I hope he doesn't leave the show, I really like him. It would be nice if his wife took him back but what were the stipulations for her to do so? Was it that he has to leave the SVU? I didn't like when they got rid of Olivia for awhile there and he had that new partner. I hate when shows start messing around with the characters! I hope they don't write him out, that would bite!

Stabler wouldnt be Stabler if he didnt have the anger problem that he did. He always has family matters to deal with too. I wouldnt like to see him cak with his wife though, she did not seem supportive of his career.

I hope he doesn't leave, I think he makes SVU. I have always secretly hoped that his character and Olivia would get together.
