hi-tech love... love on the net, is it possible? sometimes i find it hard to believe, it's hard enough to tell a fake in real life i guess there's more risk in trusting someone u have'nt met in person...but i am neither pro or anti just wondering...

You've got to be ectra careful in trusting people you meet on the net, but that doesn't mean eveyone you meet online is a fake. I myself is currently in an online relationship and have never been happier.

Anything is possible nowadays. My brother met his wife online with a thousand miles between them and they have been together now for 5 years(married for 1).His son though also had an online relationship in which the girl came from germany to Canada to meet him and they got along very well. However, when it came time for her to go back to Germany, the relationship soon fell apart. You can never tell....

Well, I met my fiancé on an internet dating site and we've been together for over 4 years now. Personally, I think that there is a better chance of meeting someone who is right for you on one of these sites because, if they are truthful about their information, it is a great way to screen out unsuitable prospects. You can see how they express themselves and if they have a modicum of intelligence, you can see a picture, you can see what their interests are and what their goals are. A person can lie about these things just as easily in person as they can on the 'net, but in person you don't have the ability to screen like you can online. I recommend it, from personal experience. Just remember to meet in person quickly and don't prolong the online aspect, because it's important to find out for sure if the person you're interested in is sincere. You can only do that in person. When you meet the first couple of times do it in a public place, and let someone you know know where you're going and what time you expect to be back home. Do not give out your personal information (ph#, address, workplace) until atleast the second date. If they question you or get defensive that's a big red flag that something isn't right about them. Most men should understand that a woman has to be cautious. Ask lots of questions and if his answers don't add up, drop him. Good luck!!!

Nowadays many couples meet their life partners in net. So it is very common to meet great people via internet. Anyway the more people lie in internet, they will lie too in their real life. So you are really lucky if you can find great honest people in net and fall in love with.
