Everyone seems to have a preference to one breed of dog. Is there a reason you love the breed you do? Maybe a childhood pet? or some other reason?
I have always loved labradors, I find them so smart and loyal, and of all breeds they seem to be the best around children.
So whats your favourite breed and why?

My favourite breed is the German Shepherd. I had one some years ago and she was so sweet and extremely intelligent, she knew how to open doors, she would defend me if I was in trouble and she always thought she was a lap dog and would try and sit on my lap! She also had such a sweet temperament and when my cat used to sit on my lap she used to put her nose gently under the cat and nudge her off!

I would go on this one with the german shepperd. It's very loial good with all sort of children (yes even with the ones who poke them with a stick) , they don't need a lot of training and are very intelligent (my dog is copying what do i do : watch tv , sleep on his back , sit at the table sometimes with paws on and even try to sit on a chair like i do , very funny). The bad side of them is that they can stink if you don't give them baths and they need exercise.Oh yeah...and are perfect for defending a house.

My favorite breed at the moment is a designer mixed breed and the type of our newest pet. She's a Goldendoodle which is 1/2 Golden Retriever and 1/2 Standard Poodle. I have a picture of her in my pictures.

Oh I forgot to add that if you love Labs then maybe you should consider a labradoodle. Having the poodle mixed in makes them shed less and therefore they are more hypoallergic. Also mixed breed dogs have fewer genetic issues from over-breeding purebred dogs.

we always had mixed breeds growing up and recently we got a Karelian Bear Dog they are from the same family as Huskies and I have found that he is an extremely loyal dog and very protective of his family!

My favourite breed is Dalmision , its really a friendly dog. I find that Dalmisions have so much effection towards their loyals and even others.
The dots on white thik skin looks posh.
The skin of Dalmision is completly packed where there is feeling of carrying a bunch of woods breet.

I like BIG, active dogs like German Sheperds, Rottweilers, Dobberman, Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Huskies, retrievers. My most rare pet is a full grown adult female wolf. She scares all of my other big dogs. She maybe tame but there's still that dominant animal instinct within her so whenever I bring her out I always bring my knuckles, a shock stick and airhorn.
