I am not getting e-mail for friend's new discussions

You're right. There are no emails coming into my mail box either and I used to get lots of them right throughout the day. This also happened during the Christmas holidays, but it was up and running after a couple of days. Let's hope myLot sorts it out soon, as I miss getting all the emails.

I have heard that all people are having troubles with this,. I am sure that Mylot are working on it =) I am sure that it is just a temporary thing

Yes they are having problems they just told me I wasnt getting any of my emails from mylot. They are still working on it you might want to tell them your having a problem so they know to work on yours too.

hello sweetlady. you are not the only one experiencing this problem. i also read some posts about this. mylot is probably experiencing some system troubles. am sure everything will be back to normal soon.

I'm not getting any either sweetlady:-(( I started a thread about it too, - but without the notification thing I obviously didn't see yous! Sorry. Hope they get it fixed soon!

I'm not getting any emails either. I think the system must be having problems as a put a similar discussion to this up earlier and the replies I got were all from people who said they weren't getting their emails either.

It has now been sorted, so hopefully everything will be back to normal, apparently it was a bug, has to be expected and it was only down a short while, glad to see the site is back up and running again, so panic over!

Hi Sweetlady One of my Friends wrote to Mylot and got a fast response, there is something wrong with the System and they are working on it now. She has started a Discussion about it.

You are 3rd person I have heard this from. I am getting them for some reason. It must be a MyLot glitch. They are probaly working on it, but you can send them a message in case it is isolated to just some of us.

It seems to be about this site alot. Management appears to have been notified and someone in a discussion mentioned some bug that needs sorted out. So perhaps in time it will be fixed and we can get back on with our friends discussions! The discussions are being made, I found some like this one and so have been learning and earning the harder way til it becomes fixed.

I wasn't getting the email notifications yesterday either, but when I logged in this morning my inbox was full! I guess things are back to normal.

It's a glitch sweetlady, hope its fixed soon..as I said, my Inbox is oh so lonely without myLot mails..lol!

I think it's back to work now, i only started using this feature today! Another friend has started a similar discussion and she reported that mylot admin responded to her complaint and said it's a bug and they are working on it.. nice to know that they read and respond to such complaints :)

I too was really missing my emails from Mylot. I know that they stopped coming in before 3pm yesterday, and when I checked around bedtime and hadn't gotten anything for hours I was like, woah! No way did none of my friends start even one new discussion in that amount of time, lol. I was sure that it was a site-wide problem, but i held off on emailling Mylot because I figured that they would have enough people emailling them about it already if it really was a problem that everyone was having. And now it seems like emails are coming in again, since I have some dated from 10pm last night that probably came in later than that time, and they go up through today. Anyway, I love getting my email alerts, so I sure am glad that they seem to be back! ^_^

The problem is on mylot mail server, I think it's already fixed now. just remember sometime mail server have huge process so there is delay in sending and receiving mail.

Are you notifications working now? I have not been getting notifications for a week and a half now! It is very frustrating because I really rely on my notifications for responding to discussions. If your notifications are working now...how long were you without any notification?

Are you sure it is a problem with myLot. Check your spam box. If they are not there then just wait until it gets sorted I suppose.

I seem to only get notification on a few of my friends. I think that maybe it is a glitch in the system, but I can not figure out why it is letting some through and not others. I have been going to the site and checking for my self.
