A few times, in some minor ways.
When I was in high school (in the UK) I was in the sports pages a few times, mostly on a regional level. I was fairly "promising," both at golf and as a cross-country runner.
About 15 years ago I had a store that sold mostly glassware and china. When the rodeo was in town (this was in Austin, TX, a city of a million+), someone from one of the local TV stations got the idea that it would make a nice "color story" to get the world's largest bull (which was at the rodeo) and do a "bull in a china shop" segment on the 6 o'clock news. So there I was, holding the leash of this HUGE animal, standing in between 1000's of dollars of breakables while they filmed. Apparently the story got picked up by the newswires and ran in a bunch of markets, so I was on TV in many places.

That's an interesting story sounds like it was pretty exciting.

It was certainly an "interesting" experience... not to mention the fact that the store smelled like barnyard for several days afterwards. Even though the bull was quite docile (and probably on tranquilizers) it was kinda hairy getting everything put together just so they could shoot 60 seconds of film.

Great questions, no is my answer unless you can count the article in the newspaper when I was about 5 on the play we were doing or the article I had in a big boating magazine last year maybe? But no one spotted me so it can't be fame! have you had yours?

Which sense? on here, online or in real life?
I'll answer them all. I believe so =)
In real life. (not being big headed) i've had a few moments where i've been popular for verious reasons. when i had trial for a local football team and they wanted me to sign a youth contract those big heads at my school was pretty much happy for me (for once) i rejected the contract tho and they signed someone else, which they wouldn't of done and he was very much big headed about being signed. (he never went to do it tho) =)
On here. probably i've recieved quite a few messages one day when i was down. (i don't know where they came from either) e.g why i was sent 'em =)
other sites pretty much happens when you own 'em. your the most popular member when you are, which isn't a great thing imo.
Kudos!

If I had it I missed it. I can remember doing a lot of things that went not noticed and wondered why. I never look for praise about things I do but sometimes it is nice to just be noticed one in a while and be given that 15 minutes of fame.
