Looking for other Military Vets

Are there any military vets that have any stories that can help the ones that are recently in the service that are possibly being deployed overseas that can help them along the way

Hopefully before you go or as you are going memorize some scripture. Blessed are the peacemakers:for they shall be called the children of God Matthe All those that are going are actually peacemakers. God will bless them for going.

Had a lot of typos. Matthew 5:9. They are all peacemakers. I am a veteran,but was not in the gulf. Plus it was alot sooner than that and was not overseas. Did not even finish basics because of problems.

With all the evidence pointing to us going into Irag for the wrong reasons, it would probably still do some good to remember the images of 9/11. I was on the tail end of my last year of service in the U.S. Air Force and my daugther was 3 weeks past her 1st birthday on that day. I remember watching Fox News that evening with her in my arms not knowing what was going on. To this date, I can still see those planes hitting the World Trade Centers. I stayed in another 13 months. That might not be enough to motivate for going into Iraq, but hopefully it will inspire a sense of patriotism, loyalty and pride in defending their country.
