yes, he sits outside the bathroom mewing while we take showers. AS soon as we get out and open the door, he RACES in the bathroom to lick the tub and faucet. He even plays in there, batting around our shampoo bottles for fun.

lol! my cat plays in the bathtub too. he even surprises me, sometimes i'll go in to use the toilet, and he'll be hiding in the bathtub and will jump out to try and scare me or attack my ankles!

i don't let my cat drink out of the toilet, cause of the chemicals i use to clean it, so i always put the toilet seat down. But CHamp does lick the bottom of the bath tub. I always thought my cat was the only that did this!! When i'm in the bathtub, he sits on the ledge and tries to drink from the bath water. When I get out, after most of the water has gone down the drain, he jumps in and licks the water up. he has a big water bowl, but he prefers to drink out of hte kitchen sink or bathtub. go figure!

My cats do that also. I was having trouble because they were not drinking out of their water bowl, but they had no problem drinking out of my cups. So I got creative and got rid of their bowl and took some unused coffee cups and started using them instead. guess what, they now drink more often and don't hit the faucets or toilet near as much as they used to.
Also since the cups are small, I have to fill then every day, which I don't mind doing, so they always have fresh water, which I do think makes a difference.
My cats own me. There is no dening that. But I do what I do because I love them.

I have got two kittens who both like to drink out of the tap/faucett and they have taught my older cat to do the same. They hardly ever drink from the bowl at all. They have got me trained, the first thing I do in the morning and when I get home from work is feed them! My partner feeds them if he gets in before me and then as soon as I walk in all three of them run up to me telling me that they haven't been fed.

My Lornie would almost always drink from the faucet if she can help it. If she does drink from her bowl it would be because she saw me putting fresh water in there or hears me doing it. Oh well!.. we live in a cat's world :)

yes! my cat loves sitting in the bathtub and meowing loudly until I turn on the faucet. I finally just bought a little fountain for her and keep it on all the time. She's happy and now I'm happy all the time.

I have seven cats. I only have one that does this. THANK GOD! She goes from room to room where there is a tape waiting for you to turn it on for it. I gets a little annoying at times. And if you don't turn it on she gets mad at you. She will never drink from the toilet though!

My cats hardly drink from their water bowl either. Bailey just shoves the dogs away and drinks from their bowl and fluffy has this thing for the sink in the washroom. WIth her I think it started when we had a small leak in the faucet for a week. From then on she always goes there to drink and demands loudly that we open it a bit for her to drink :)
As for Bailey it's really cute seeing him shoving off a dog that is several times bigger than him but that he does :)
The strange part, is that if the dogs bowl has no water for some reason, Bailey pees in it - I wonder if it's a reminder to keep it full hehe

Both my cats like to drink out of the bathtub faucet. My one cat used to lay in the tub right after I rinsed it out. He used to also wait till I got done brushing my teeth and hang my toothbrush up. He would jump up on the vanity and 'brush' his teeth with my toothbrush, often knocking it in the sink. That was the only time he would get up on the counters. Ever since we moved into our new house 2yrs ago, he stopped doing it. Think it's because he can't jump straight up onto the counter but instead he used to jump on the hamper and then over to the counter. Hamper is no longer in the bathroom and there is nothing close to the sink he can jump on to get to it.

Mine have the same love for the bathroom. I've had both of them walking around the tub while i takes baths. Luna B loves to play in the toilet so i'm always having to make sure the lid is down. I almost never see her drink form the bowl.

Mine do the same! Every morning when I get up to go to work, Daisy Boo will hop up on the bathroom counter and wait patiently for me to turn on the water for her. My other one, Paddington, will wait by the faucet in the shower until I turn it on. They have a huge drinking bowl filled with fresh water, but don't use it.

Haha, my favorite kitty drinks wherever there's water. She does love the bathroom sink though, whenever I turn it on she is fascinated by the water and hits at it with her paw. She ends up soaked from hitting water all over the place, it's adorable. :P
