55 people under the heading 'Who am a writer' (makes me cringe, bad grammar!) yet, there are no active discussions. Lets roll people! I'm a writer, I have a brain full of stuff just needing to come out. The crazy thing is, when I have pen in hand, I choke up. Now put a computer in front of me, and you'd think i was writing an encyclopedia with how fast stuff just pours out. Any special little help-alongs?

I'm a writer, but only with a little 'w'. I've written some articles and blogs. Hope this first response will get your discussion going. Have a great day.

Haha! Yeah, bad grammar makes me very uneasy too, though sometimes, I do make silly mistakes! I love to write, too and I have the same problem like you. I can't seem to write much with a pen nowadays. Ever since I started blogging and joining forums like myLot, I prefer to write on the computer. It's faster and I get to write longer articles. I think it still can be helped. Try to keep a diary/journal where you write in every night. Write about your day, what you did, who you met, anything interesting happened, etc. I used to keep a diary but since spending more time on the computer, my diary was quite forgotten. Poor diary. I used to write a lot with a pen when I was in school. I liked holding a pen. Now, holding a pen is quite difficult for me! I know it sounds ridiculous but it's unfortunately true. My handwriting has turned horrible too. I haven't written for a few months since school finished. Ah, it's great to meet other writers here too. Yeah, let's hope that more discussions about writing appear here on myLot. Keep on writing!

i'm sometime's guilty of sloppy typing thanks to corporal tunnel syndrome, and when i use capital letters on mylot, i loose posts, so i rarely use them. bad grammer is sometimes a symptom of learning disability or being new to english language. face it, english is a complicated little mix of a language that befuddles many people trying to write/type it. the fact mylot doesn't let you cut/paste after editing in text writers until you've been here a long while is also to blame.
