Are you a pattern 'junkie'?

Just like with recipes I'll never make, I collect crochet patterns! I know there are some that I'll probably never make and yet every time I sit down to sift through them and 'weed' some out I basically end up keeping them all. (Unless they're duplicates!) I guess the logical thing for me to do would be to get them organized into different categories! Are you a pattern junkie too?

I love patterns and I am going through my books and being honest to myself. The items I know I am not going to make I am going to sell the patterns in my Etsy shop. I have so many books there is no possible way I will ever make these items, but I collect them because I like to look at them and think I just might make the. What is a pattern "junkie" to do. Of course now I have started a new habit, I have downloaded the patterns I like from the internet organized them into folders on my computer becuase then I can print them when I want. Whats a pattern"junkie" to do. LOL

That's an idea! Maybe I should just scan the patterns I don't think I'll ever make but don't want to toss either. Then I can keep them stored on the computer or put them on a disc!

I am such the pattern junkie, and a crafting junkie all at the same time this spring one of my goals is to get all of my crafting materials seperated by category so I can see what I actually have. I have soo much fabic and yarn. I keep saying I am going to make a quilt and have yet to do it. But I am definately a pattern junkie but I do put them into a notebook and I have over 200 pages of patterns waiting to be printed off of my computer that I saved.

oh, yeah, I am constantly finding patterns on the internet and printing them off, because they look cute or whatever. I keep them all in a binder.

I have so many patterns I don't know what to do with them all! Not only crochet patterns, but all kinds. I keep telling myself I'm going to clear everything out and just keep the most important ones, but I know this is an impossible job for me. I went through some magazines today that I thought I would sell on e-Bay, but, wouldn't you know it, there were some patterns in each one and they're now back on the shelf. I guess I'll just have to store them for a little while more, lol.

Yes I am A pattern junkie also, many I will probably never make, that is why I just ask if it would be alright to post some of them on here for others to have I don't mind sharing. I am always thankful when someone else shares theirs in the free sites so I thought it would be a good Idea to share on here

Yes, we should set up a pattern exchange site! Does anyone out there know how to go about it?

Yes it's nice getting free pattern on-line. I do find they often have mistakes in their directions though.

I'm a huge pattern junkie as well. I will spend hours of my weekend sifting through patterns that usually range from baby blankets to child appropriate afghans. My Significant Other thinks I'm a little crazy, but I keep them all in a binder like a previous poster mentioned. I also collect yarn - whenever the craft store is having a sale I stock up. Now I have a hamper full of yarn and a binder full of patterns. Guess I should get to making some of them already.

I am definelty a pattern junkie. I have tons of patterns I have gotten from the internet. I have lots of crochet magazines. I think everytime I get a new pattern, "I can't wait to make that." Then the pattern get stuffed in with all the other patterns and forgotten until I spend a day going through them. I just enjoy looking at all of them even though I rarely start new projects from any of them.

Oh yeah. Definite pattern junkie here. And this pattern junkie took up crochet again after about 20 dormant years that I filled cross-stitching. I've got so many cross-stitch pattern books it's insane, but they are beautiful, and I really do intend to make them all...someday.. Now that I've taken up my crochet hook again, I scour the internet for hours looking for patterns. So naturally that stack is starting to get out of hand, too. So many pretties to make, so little time (because I'm looking for more patterns, of course!).
