boyer_megan I dont write my own patterns, but I do take things from different patterns, and combine them. I guess thats as close as I will ever get..... but I am happy to use bits and peices to make them look a little more like my own.

Just like with recipes I'll never make, I collect crochet patterns! I know there are some that I'll probably never make and yet every time I sit down to sift through them and 'weed' some out I basically end up keeping them all....

At what age did you start your baby on solids?

Did you start with cereal or pureed fruits and veggies? I've read so many different opinions on when to start solids and what their first foods should be. The general consensus seems to be somewhere between 4 and 6 months of age....

boyer_megan Maybe they want another child of their own. Perhaps they are even trying to make up for losing you their baby....now that you have a baby of your own. Sit down with thtem and tell them how you feel. Tell them that that is YOUR child and you would like to do...

boyer_megan I think I was around 12 or 13 when my mom would let us sleep in and not go wtih her on her run to the grocery store...but if she went out to breakfast...or did something else we would want...she woke us up and gave us the choice to go-or yes she would bring us...
