Which do you prefer? Internet Explorer or FireFox?

Do not lose hope on Firefox, it is still the safest browser in the market and has new features like spell check facility, a neat user interface unlike the confused look of the IE 7. Also, it is has less bugs when compared to IE 7, Microsoft keep adding new patches for IE 7, for various issues. Also, Firefox works across different platforms, like Linux, Microsoft etc. unlike IE 7 which primarily works well only inside Windows. My favorite between the two of them is without any doubt Firefox, although the award for the best browser goes to Opera.

I use both but mostly firefox it crashes less on me and I can do more html work with firefox for it has alot of cool addons that I am using now, for I get into making website etc.I use the most recent of both IE and firefox

I've been using Firefox on and off for several months now. I find it to be a stable browser and doesn't hang up the way IE does. I had been using Mozilla before the launch of Firefox and I think Firefox is a nice improvement. I just need to get all my bookmarks over there!

I love firefox and recommend it others all the time. I never use my IE anymore and have not gotten knocked off line in an age. i feel it is more stable and I have heard it is safer and believe it because I do not get the pop-ups I got with the IE.

I have been using FireFox for a few weeks now. I have to say that Firefox has a lot of good features, same as IE. But I have been finding in the past week or so that FF doesn't always show all the graphics on a page. Also I have read many people saying that FF is slowing down their computers. I have found that FF loads much faster than IE. So in short they are both good. It really depends on the user I believe.

Hi kicker55, I like mozilla firefox because it is much secured when compared to internet explorer. It has an advanced security feature which makes it safe to use. I like also the add-ons, plug-ins, and extensions of mozilla, thus making it more useful. However, I also used IE because there are some websites that cannot be opened by mozilla, so I used it rarely. Have a nice day and God speed!

I also very much like Firefox. It is a very stable and secure system. I have to admit, though, that I am a person of habit and have used internet explorer for a long time and still like it. My son nearly always uses Firefox.

I prefer Firefox so much better than IE. Every time I used IE my computer would crash and that got very annoying. So I heard a lot of good things about Firefox and installed it and have not used IE since. I also love Firefox's features so much more. I love the fact that I can have several tabs up at once and go from one to the other. It has taught me to multi task better. :)

A friend recently downloaded Firefox onto my laptop, and I use it sometimes, but I have problems with it, which I'm sure has something to do with my ignorance on how to use it. So I'll revert back to my IE7. I've heard Firefox is safer, and people who are mad at Microsoft will use it. I'm sure if I can work out the kinks in my Firefox I'll use it alot more than I do now.

Usually I prefer FireFox, but lately its been havig issues for me so I've been usinf more IE. I'm still unsure if I can download Firefox and if it will work with Vista, so my laptop is just IE
