I think he should get a life sentence with no chance of parole. I also don't think that he should get solitary confinement. He should have to interact with the rest of the inmates. Prisons have a class system and the lowest of the low in prison are those who sexually abuse and/or murder children. He would be the lowest in the prison and would be treated like crap for his entire life.

I agree with you . This guy is a monster and deserves to be treated like one . The sad thing is like you said he will go to jail and get out on good behaviour or whatever and be out in no time to do this to someone else . I don't understand why life does not mean exactly that when these people get sentenced . That mother must be going through something horrible now , trusting a family member just cost her , her baby's life . I can't imagine the pain and suffering she must be going through while this guy is going to go to jail and be out , who knows when and will feel he didn't do anything wrong and should be given a chance out in the real world for serving his sentence , yet the sentence for the family will be for life as they will never get back what this guy stole from them not to mention the fear and terror that would have went through the little one before he tortured her .

I think we dont really want bad to happen to anyone. We are just angered by the bad thing that he did. Hatred hurts the hater worse than anything that could happen to the man who did this. We must let man serve his justice and God serve justice finally. It does us individually no good to wish harm on anyone.

I know we should write more then a sentece on a response, but all I really got to say about that is I hope that someones kills him.

My views regarding this isn't okay for me to say on here. I will say that i think they should be hanged. i don't agree with hanging but this case i would. i heard about this on the news and the uncle should be careful when he gets put inside mind you i doubt he'll mind what happens. I hope he goes down for a long time, but our system isn't the best and we normally allow people to get away with things like this. 5-10 years isn't enough =) Kudos ~Joey

I feel so badly for that baby. I feel for the mother, too, she obviously thought she knew her relative well enough to leave the baby a brief period of time with him. It just goes to show maybe we never really know anyone at all. It's scary that she was living with a monster and didn't even know it. That poor little girl was just not given a chance at all in this world. I can make excuses for a lot of things, but someone who does something like this is just a person born evil. We could add up every punishment suggested on this board so far, and still it would be too good for him.

I know this is going to sound bad but if he happens to be put in general population in prison, don't worry about it. I have read many stories of child rapist who get their just desserts in prison. Other prisoners do not tolerate child rapists, or any rapists. They seem to realize that although they are in prison for committing crimes, there is a line they just don't cross. Just pray that he gets caught by the right people while he is in there. Hope that he does not get put in a segregated area with other rapists where he will be safe. There is a God! May I ask, where is Leeds?

My heart goes out to that mom. How could any uncle hurt his niece?? How could any adult hurt a child?? This man should be thrown in jail-- Forever--- and be raped daily by the biggest, ugliest, meanest prisoners.. Several times a day! i think such persons should be given life imprisonment so that they realize what a rediculous act they had commited n after the completion of their accusement htey should be hanged in the center of the city so that none could dare to do such a thing
