I don't think I have, but I know people have done it to me. If it looks like a complete accident I rate them twice, however a couple of times I have had someone reply twice with exactly the same reply and I wasn't sure if this was to try and get two ratings or an accident so I just rated one of the answers.

Hello!(",)
As far as I can remember, I haven't answered twice to the same discussion.(",) That only shows that I still have a good memory. Sometimes, I scroll first to see the responses of other members and to make sure that I haven't answered yet.
Just like now, I'm sure I haven't answered this one twice.
Great day!(",)

I am sure we all have a time or two atleast. When you get up there in the thousands it is kinda hard to remember sometimes especially if you have a bad memory

Yes I've done that before when I've made a mistake and hit the back button to try again, or when I thought my reply didn't go through.

I don't think that has happened to me as I use the email system to respond to my friends topics. When the system was down yesterday, I tried using the panel on the left with my friends discussions and I got very confused so I gave up on that. I don't think I will duplicate any of my responses if I stick to the emails although I am sure everybody has their methods of responding.

If you normally do check if you have replied in a discussion or not, before posting, then, it would avoid this. It is just a good practice and will prevent the mistake.

So far no, but I have replied to a discussion twice accidentally when trying to edit last minutes when I saw some typo errors and pressing the ESC key
