Thirsting very often where not even the best brand named mineral water can resolve it, and whatever amount or frequency of a full glass it may have won't be enough. Each time to move one step finding an answer results with a more complex thing... The more searches anyone does, endless choices seems to remain infinite, whereby sleepless night starts to bother leaving thirst never been quenched.
Feel free to share those grievances and or joy and laughter emerging from home and let's all handle them with utmost care... As of the minute this topic has been submitted for an open forum there are about 70,680 active Mylot members willing to exchange opinion with one another...
P.S. The author might fall short of the wisdom it needs to materialize this topic but has overcome such emptiness with enormous courage thoroughly inspired by current events to fellowmen of the world...

Some of the other people that have responded have very good points.
I always felt that there could be no peace of Earth without God, if that's the topic. Part of the problem is that everyone can't agree on who or what God is and what He/She wants. And, many people let their difficulties and struggles turn them away from God. But, I think this is God's plan for everyone, to have peace on Earth.

I thank you for responding back...

I echo this comment...in my opinion, there can be no real peace without everyone having a true desire for doing what our Creator wants us to do, as we learn and grow here on this tiny speck of dust in a Universe so vast and complex. To me, that's part of the wonder of it all, too. Funny how such a relatively small world (in the grand scope) can have so much turmoil going on. Funny, too, how we all seem to WANT things to be better, but I'm not sure we know HOW any more. Of one thing I am convinced:
God has the power to do anything He wishes to do with us. His level of Love for all His Creation is beyond our comprehension (so far, but He's still working on us!), but that's where the answer for true world peace lies, I'm sure.
Thanks for the topic!

nice feedback, that means the basic necessity must be at least abundant and affordable to almost everyone.... not necessarily free you know.

I think that there is always peace on some part of the earth, but I really can't see peace happening everywhere at once, since there's always people that want more, and most times it is not peaceful to get the extra things that they want. Since people can never truly be equal, there will always be people wanting to fight and not be peaceful for more.
It's sad to me that it's like this, but I think that it's the way we are going to stay, unless people can accept what they have and not always want more.

I think total peace on earth is just impossible, peace can only come from justice, if there's is justice everywhere and with everything there will be peace.. sadly justice is against the nature of too many people and conflicts with their greed and ambitions.. we can't change human nature, there will always be the good, the bad and the ugly :(

I would like to add if I may say so, that we never forget that each family comprises the society we belong... Let us make it happen to sincerely start that law enforcement within our roof.

I am doubtful about it. But I am praying for peace on Earth so that God can give some heaven lights to people. Why am I doubtful? Please take a look at inter-relationship among individuals. There are so many suspicious, intrigues and other "evil" behaviors among individuals. So, we don't have to see in the world stage in order to create peace.
Since Adam and Eve were created, humans can't still have peace. I don't know.... Perhaps, it is part of sins. But I still hope that humans are getting more and more civilized toward others (to achieve enlightment). When the enlightenment among individuals is going to be aware of, the world will then be better.

I wish I can have the opportunity to give more than one "best response mark"... Thank you for a great point in there. Anyway never give up and never be influenced by those negative attitudes around us. Be strong and as much as possible influence them.

An interesting thread I just couldn't bare not to reply to. I believe world peace is possible but only in a political sense, people will still have there own indvidual battles with others however large scale wars can be avoided. I believe there are 3 steps to this kind of peace, firstly there needs to be an abundance of any and all items, secondly everyone needs the choice of whether they'd like to work or not, finally there needs to be one and only one unifying state that controls everything.
I believe the first two will allow people to live freely without any worries and thus have less need to turn to corruption to meet their own selfish ends. The last step ensures that no war will take place.
But how can such things be achieved? I believe that technology is the answer - technology is growing everyday. We are on the verge of splitting and fusing any atom we wish. If we can successfully split atoms into their separate protons and neutrons, we can then refuse the right combinations to make any new atom structure. So for instance we could split up the matter that makes garbage and fuse it correctly to make food! (sounds disgusting put it would be perfectly good!). With such technology we would have no need for any kind of monetary system, since anyone would have the ability to turn even just air or water into anything they wanted.
We can replace all the jobs like firemen and policemen with robots - thus no1 would have to work unless they became so passionate about something that they wanted to work.
And how do we get a unified state - well thats easy once matter transformers become a reality. Whoever invents it has the ability to create anything - if world peace cannot be achieved through dialogue then it will have to be done through brute force - a war to end all wars.. of course the inventor of the matter transformer will win because he has the ability to create unlimited robotic armies and weapons.

You have a widely sponken point of view in there and although the approach seems to be a little complicated I figured it myself it has an excellent possibility whenever this might push thru. Thank you for the contributions, and please get back here and check out for more reactions from other members and/or mylot visitors.

its difficult to say possible and impossible coz world always change and noone know what will world will be. so its depend on each person, do they still having love in heart, having desire to live on peace or not? as long as they go through their own desire, so it will be difficult but not impossible to create peace in this earth

La la la la give peace a chance! All we are saaaying is give peace a chance...
Sorry, I couldnt resist. Yes I think world peace is possible. But the thing is, is this:
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world"-
Mohandas Gandhi
Which means, basically, if you want to see world peace, you have to live peacefully, love everyone, forgive and forget, etc. Everything that is necessary for world peace, you have to do it yourself. Its not enough to stand around asking if world peace will ever happen, that wont do anything. Actions speak louder than any words. If everyone starts living the peaceful, loving way, things will change. But someone has to start and lead by example. You cant rely on anyone else to do this. You have to do it yourself. And by the way, these arent just empty words, everything I'm asking you to do, I do myself. I can tell you from experience, that living like this, its great. Really, you give out love and peace, and (for the most part) thats what you get back. Anyways, Im rambling now, so yes, it is possible.

If only we will set our greediness aside and respect each other's differences, I believe we still can have peace in the world. May God bestow us His mercy and grant us peace in this world.

We all see what happens today. I wanna know DO YOU BELIVE IN PEACE. I dont mean any peace, i mean the real peace-world whitout hate, no terorism, no killings. Do you think that the time will come when people of the earth will live in peace for ever, till The Last Day. Love for all, is it possible???

Unfortunately I don't think there will ever be complete World peace. There never has been - there have always been wars and conflicts somewhere in the world, and there always will be......... because the tribal instinct is deep within the human pshyche, and nothing will ever change that.
The best we can hope is that all these conflicts will remain localised and not explode into another World war that involves all countries.....
God help us all if that happens again.

Yes, it can be possible when all people become saints and forgo material happiness. But it is difficult to convince each and every person to leave all their ambitions and goal in their life. As buddha said, "Forgo your wishes and be happy". I think this is impossible and we live with lot of wishes and hopes and keep trying our best to reach our goals.
