Do you take pain killer pills?

How much pain killer is acceptable to our body? I mean quantity. I came to know that if you cross certain no. of pills of pain killers that may effect your brain for ever. Do you take pain killer? How often?

rarely , i avoid taking pain killers, i only go for them if the pain is unbearable, otherwise for minor pains i avoid taking them

I never take pain killers.I have heard that painkillers only make the nerve from the paining area to the brain numb!They create several heart disorders and stomach problems!Some painkillers even affect kidneys.

i try not to take pain pill much. but like right now i am taking perscription pills for a really bad tooth ach. but i only take them when i can't bear the pain any more. i don't like taking them but i don't like being in pain even more.

i have never taken a pain killer pill, but people do take them and too much really, i think you are meant to have 1 every certain amount of hours in a day.

I really try hard not to take pain killers as I think you can easily get addicted to them. It also means your body gets used to them and you need more and more each time you get a pain. I probably take an average of one paracetamol every 2 months.
