I have studied at the St. Louise University in Baguio City during my first year in college long long time ago. Since then I have not gone there again. The weather is very cool and it's the summer capital of the Philippines. The sceneries are very beautiful. How I wish to spend a long vacation there. I hope I could still visit the place before my end comes.

I have gone to Baguio City when a foreigner invited me to accompany them. It's really very beautiful and it's cold. It's mountainous and the sceneries are beautiful, how wonderful nature is. I should like to go back and stay there for a longer period.

I have travelled many times throughout the Philippines when I was still an Inspector of the National Police Commission and I have gone to Baguio City many times also even when I'm no longer in the government service.
Baguio City is really beautiful and it is the summer capital of the country because the temperature is cool always. There are so many beautiful spots and tourists usually go there otherwise as if they have not seen the Philippines. I should want to spend a long vacation there and God willing, I might spend my near year there next year as somebody has already invited me LOL!

I am from the south and if somebody from the south is able to go to Baguio, when he returns people would meet him as if he came from abroad. I wanted to go to Baguio City very much but unfortunately I have not seen as yet that beautiful place which is a tourist spot in the Philippines.

Hmmm... I've never been to Baguio. My friends would unbelievingly, even sarcastically laugh at me everytime I am asked and reply in the negative. After all you said Windang, I still want to see Baguio. One of these days, hopefully this year.

Yes, there are good things and bad things, same with other places, but with the cool people in the city, that I can stand proud of.

I have also heard that Baguio City is indeed a beautiful place. It is called the summer capital of the Philippines. The president of the Philippines herself goes to that city for a retreat every summer. I would love to visit the place someday.

It's been sometime when i last visited that place. I would say that place is quite unique of all the places here in the Philippines. I love it there because it is so different in all of the nice places here. First the climate is so different since its on top of a mountain the breeze is almost laways cool and you could even walk in the park in the middle of the day and would not sweat at all. I wish I could visit that place again since its summer its always good to feel cool this days.

I have been there and beyond. Baguio is one of the ultimate places to go during summer or anytime of the year. I love Baguio very much. The first time I went there I fell in love with the place right away especially the weather. The only thing is houses or apartments don't have shower heater. You must heat water from the stove. Nevertheless, I still love Baguio and even during the cold season I love to eat halo-halo at Chowking-Baguio LOL!
One of my favorite places is Camp John Hay. It's a great place to ride horses, go skating, stroll, and especially for wedding. But the food is a little expensive. Oh, let me not forget the Panagbenga or Flower Festival. It's one of a kind in the Philippines and probably in Asia.
Some peopel have probably experienced strawberry picking at La Trinidad which is about 30 minutes by jeep. And there's also a museum a few meters from the strawberry farm wher you get to see the century-old mummies.
However, I was a little disappointed when I last went there in 2004. Burnham park was full of litters. I believe vacationers did that. They just leave their trash on the ground. I don't know if Baguio officials have done something about it. But I'm hoping they did. I just love Baguio. Please let's keep it clean.

I visited Baguio before with my friends and family. It didn't turn out that good. Because the one who was supposed to plan for where we had to stay; didn't planed at all. We stayed for a while at Burnham Park. It was raining. It was late and we were hungry. Someone offered us a place to stay, 2000 only she said. We agreed, we went there, picked rooms, settled our bags. But it turned out to be 2000/day. Jeez! We left immediately. We went back to Burham. While our friend decided to search for the supposedly close relative of her where we should have been in the first place. It was a long night and a cold one too. She was able to find the place. And we stayed there for one week. The things I love from Baguio is the cool weather, even if it is chilly by night. I love the fresh vegetables, and picking strawberries. And it is a challenge there to take a shower or even brush your teeth. (^^,LOL^^,) I also stayed before at teacher's camp during our fiel study trip.

I've been to Baguio several times before.. and we're actually going there this Friday once again.. The last time we were there was last February 2007.. What I love about Baguio the most is its nice climate.. really cool.. a great escape from Manila's sweltering heat..

my last visit to baguio was when i was in my 3rd grade yet together with my father. i remembered we stayed with a relative. it was so cold that i did not take a bath for the entire visit (3 days. we went to PMA grounds, burnham park, and the mines view park where i threw coins, and the famous lourdes grotto where i had hard time climbing up the steps. those are the places i remember. how i wish i could go back to baguio and see those places again.
