I have had 3 cats, and 10 kittens at one time. My husband had invited a friend and his male cat to come stay with us and our 3 female cats... which he got pregnant almost right away. The one had 6 kittens, 1 had 3 and the other had 1. I had no problems finding them homes right away though... I'd love to have more cats (I currently have 4) but I wouldn't have the time or room for them... If only I lived on a farm...LOL

You know I had two cats to start with once, and a friend asked me to watch her cat while she would gone on a week long vacation. I agreed and wound up with not one but two litters about the same time. Not that I am blaming her male cat, but someone did it, and they had no contact with other kitties. lol

I have just one cat. It's my first cat too.
I would like to have more cats, but my cat (a female) is so possessive that she hates others cats and animals!
She tolerates just my two guinea pigs and my hamster, because it's me lol.
My father want to have a kitten (because we never had one), but I think it's a bad idea, my cat would fight with the kitten and maybe kill it!

The most cats my family has had at one time is 3. Two of them were ours and one was a neighbors' cat that adopted us. I guess he decided he liked us better and decided to move in. LOL He was such a sweet kitty. Anyway, grand total of how many cats my family had? Well, counting just the ones *I* remember, there were 5. I guess there was another cat before I was born and that would make at least 6.

The most cats I had at one time was ll. I had three adults, and 8 kittens. It was too much for me in a small appartment and now we have 4 cats and one go higher than that.

Okay so I know how many cats I have claimed to own, but there are many feral cats that I also care for, which are nobody's cat! I currently have one cat in the home. He is my 20th cat in 38 years. The most cats I have had in my home at one time would be eight, but two of those would go outdoors many times throughout the day. I have had up 12 cats at one time, eventually giving away kittens, to dwindle the pack down to three!

I have 2 cats, I never even meant to get that many I adopted the second one after I'd had the first for 6 months.

I currently have 4 cats, which is the most that I have had since I was a child. When I was a child, my family had 5 cats at one time. I guess I've have 8 cats total as an adult.

We've only ever had 2 cats at once, which is what we have right now.
Overall, we've had 4. One when I was very young, then one we kept for my aunt while she was living in a place that didn't allow cats, then we got Whiskers, who we've had for 14 years now (she's 17), and two years ago we got my cat, Syna, who is 4 now.
Someday when I have my own house, though, I want 3 or 4. I love kitties :)

Here is a pic of the 2 cats i have now, miso (cutest), and misha (the fatter one). Miso was the runt of his litter and is the cutest cat in the world if you ask me!
