I've been dieting for so long I just can't take it anymore! I grew tired of the crazy combinations, the major restrictions, the insanity of it all, so, I QUIT! Now, I focus on making small changes that I find do-able long term....

tenthingsfarm I wish you all the best - you can do it! After all the crazy things I've tried over the years, I'm convinced that the healthiest, and most sane way to do it is to make the little changes that you can live with forever. They really do add up!

This question just popped into my head. Although I love all types of pies, pumpkin pie is my hands down favorite. This pie is typically only made around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Why is that?

tenthingsfarm I make the pumpkin pie filling fairly often and bake it in a glass dish - no crust. My daughter (15 mos) loves it as a treat, it has lots of vitamins and minerals too. I reduce the sugar in it too, so it's healthier.
