So we've been outside most of the day as it is so beautiful, it feels like Spring, don't know about all of you but I just can't get enough of the warm weather and with the rain coming again on Sunday we took advantage of today. I included a pic of my 3 year old trying to climb a tree today. She was just having a ball out their, riding her bike and just running around like a wild Indian, lol.
Is anyone else waiting for the warmer weather? How was it where you were today? Were you able to get out and enjoy some fun in the sun?

That would be a good summer temp. Here in the North of England. The older I get, the more I hate the cold weather, especially if I have to go out in it to get to work or the shops. I don't mind it so much if I can just hibernate :-)Lovely pic. :)

Thank you, she really enjoyed herself she just couldn't figure out why she couldn't climb all the way up the tree, lol. Well 75 as a summer temp wouldn't be to bad, here we get well into the 100's for consecutive days, that isn't any fun either. :( I like the temp to be 80 to 90 I find that to be the most enjoyable.

I'm so jealous! You're daughter does look like she was having fun out there! Right now it's -10 degreesF with the wind chill; the furnace has been cycling on constantly. It's the kind of weather where you just can't seem to feel warm, no matter what you do. 75 degrees is like a perfect summer day in Buffalo, NY! I can't wait for spring, either. Right now 40 degrees would feel balmy!

Any place that has minus temperatures is just not for me. I love the sun and the heat. Not the 100 plus weather that we get in the summer but, nice warm days where you can get in the pool, or go out to the lake or the river.

It is 28 degrees here.We just had an ice storm the other day.I am getting tired of ice skating to get my mail. I am glad you are enjoying your day.I wish I was there.I can't wait until it gets warmer.I have a huge garden in my yard. And I really can't wait to go swimming in my pool.It looks like an iceskating ring.If only I had ice skates.

Now I feel guilty that our weather was so perfect here. 28 degrees is cold, and I don't even know wat an ice storm is. I'm really glad though that it's getting warmer here.

Oh my! I'm so jealous, I'm sitting here debating on whether I should start the fire or just get a blanket as I'm feeling cold and lazy. It is currently -12C ( -19C with the windchill) and flurrying! Brrr!!! I can't wait for warmer weather. The picture of your daughter is beautiful! It's nice to see the sun is shining somewhere, but it's certainly NOT shining here in Nova Scotia!

Wow Nova Scotia, I'm so glad today to be living in Northern California. I really don't like the cold or the rain. I don't mind visiting the snow for a few days at a time, but I'm definetly a sun person. We love to be outdoors. My daughter had a great day today.

Okay, that is torture, we did get into the 20's today, but we got this nasty icy snow over the past few days, but none today. Where it is not bad, my guys---see picture are having a hard time walking in the snow becasue there feet hurt so bad. The black one just lays down, then he can't get up. I fee so bad for him. It has been 2 winters since we had a fun snow that they liked playing in.
They would love 75 degrees ---can you send us some sunshine?

I wish I could send you some sunshine. It isn't going to last as they are calling for rain by Sunday, yuk. Your dog is cute trying to get through the snow I rated it a "+" along with your response. I hope it gets warmer for you soon, and that you have seen the end of the icy snow. :)

I actually live in Northern Calif, right outside of Sacramento. It isn't normally this warm at this time of the year, but I ain't a complaining!!! Although they say rain tomorrow, don't knoe if it's coming or not as it's still beautiful outside, I don't think as warm as yesterday, but only a few degrees cooler and a light breeze. :) I hope your daughter gets to wear her pretty dresses soon.

It was unbelievably cold here in Philadelphia! The Canyon effect through the neighborhoods, plus the Arctic winds harshly dropped temperatures way below zero.
Wind gusts of up to 60 miles an hour pushed people down the street like they were weightless...even if a person wasn't into "Ice Skating" per se, he or she recieved huge amounts of assistance in "breaking into" the sport, from Old Man Winter. Combined with the "Judo Expert" effects of Gravity, many a person's "glutes" were introduced to the cold, frosted ground...
Frostbite is a real danger here that most city people don't know much about, but I'll bet that there were a few cases more than usual, because some people had exposed skin despite the warnings to the contrary...
There was this guy who was standing outside of my doorway, gently asking people for money at the bus stop, which is right on the corner of the block that I live on...
He looked so cold as he stood there, shivering... and without a hat and gloves...
I walked over and gave him mine and went back in the house to get my other set of winter gear...
When I came back outside, he walked over to me and said, your heard me say "Thank God!"...when you gave me your hat and gloves..." and I forgot to say "Thank You!"...
I said, "You expressed your Gratefulness, and no matter to what or whom you expressed Gratefulness... Your message was well recieved, my friend, have a great day!"...
The Sun was shining and despite the presence of the bone-chilling cold, somehow I felt just a tiny bit warmer...
I hope that Life will bring better fortunes to that guy... he was able to get bus fare and he went off to who knows where... I wish him well.
Actually, That incident was my little bit of "Fun in the Sun" but I hope that Spring will soon make Her pleasant appearance, before Winter freezes off a body part that I might need in the coming days! :) LOL!
Blessed Be!

I am not looking forward to warm weather. We have it all year around. It was 78* here, and I have had the air conditioner on. It is lovely, and will stay this way until May. Then the nightmare of beastly heat starts until around November.

Are you in Arizona or Texas? I have been in both places and the summers are unbelieveable. The last time I was in Arizona I cut my trip short as it was just to hot for me. :)

Firstly, what a cute picture! You are so lucky to have the beautiful weather that you've had! We had more snow here in Missouri last night, and it came sort of close to cancelling plans that I had. I was really happy that I still managed to get out and go where I was intending to go, since I already had the tickets bought for the play that I was attending. Whew. I really just do not like this time of the year, the snow and constant threat of bad weather. I'll be so happy when we get back to even 50 degree weather, let alone the wonderful 75 degree weather you are talking about. I truly miss it, lol!

Absolutely felt like Spring already, hope everyday's weather is like that, but I think tomorrow's weather is going to drop back to 50 plus again... and might be raining again next week! darn... anyways.. enjoy the warm weather while we have it!

I am so jealous! I think our high was 7, without the wind chill figured in. We got to leave work an hour early one day, which is a first whre I work, so that should say something about weather conditions! And I got to fight with the Borough Mayor about plowing my hill, or rather the lack of plowing when everything else was! Gotta remember to join town council if I want to make it to my driveway!
Now that they have most of the main roads clear, we're due for more snow and ice. The only plus is the fact that I work for a bank, and am not planning to leave the house till Tuesday, since Monday is President's Day!
So, in your area, you get nice weather now. Are there downsides? I'm looking for a place to move to!!!lol!

I live outside of Sacramento, Calif. our winters are wet and our summers get hot. By hot I mean that we usually get about 10 or more days of over 100 days. This past December we dropped below freezing and this cause major problems in the agriculture which has sent many things sky rocketing at the grocery stores. The last time I saw snow here was in early 1986 and it was just enough to cover the ground. Were centrally located so we don't have far to go to get to the snow, or the ocean, or over to Nevada for gambling, 2 hours from San Francisco. It really is a nice place to live. I don't mind the heat except when we are above a 100 for consecutive days, that is draining. But no snow to deal with unless you choose to by going up the hill. We deal with fog also in the winter. We are surrounded by rivers and lakes, we really do have it all.

I checked just curious where you live. I see California. ME TOO! Except we just moved 3 months back from Orange County to Oceanside. 1 hr away and its raining like we live in Seattle. It rains like once a week or more. Maybe the closeness to the ocean.
I mean last week I think it was really warm for 2 days then its raining again.
They say rain through tomorrow. I hate rain. Why does it rain so much? I MISS THE SUN!
Hope you enjoy your sun! I am totally jealous :))

It actually has been raining here all day and very cold. It actually snowed about 30 minutes up the hill. SO it has been to cold for me. I also hate the rain, much prefer the sun and the warmer weather. We are suppose to have rain through tomorrow also. Last week we had 2 days that were beautiful, Friday and Saturday. I actually started this discussion on Friday. :)

Yeah I am in chicago area and its too cold out here, alot of snow all around. So we are also waiting for a warmer weather here. It will be around 20-40 in the coming week and 50 in the 5-6 weeks. But its enough for us, because here it is very cold.

You're lucky. Up here in Pennsylvania, it's still fairly cold, about 35 degrees right now. There's still snow on the ground, but it's starting to melt a little though. I really wish it were warmer, because I really hate the cold and the snow.

Here in Ohio the roads are covered with snow and we are just recovering from a bad snow and ice storm. School was canceled this whole week for most of the schools in our area. I can't wait until Spring! It's not too cold out today, not as cold as it's been, but it's still snowing. I wish it was Spring all the time here. I wish I lived where you lived, lol! :)
