I just finished watching Finding Nemo again. I've also recently rented Barnyard, Ice Age 2, Out of Season, and The Hedge. Why is Pixar SO good while these others are a distant second? The stories, the animation and the actors just seem to be so superior. What do you think is the secret?

I think in any industry choosing a right project is very important.Pixar's sence of choosing a project is a key.
They choose good project. The best part of the pixar films is emotions. They just pour emotions into their films. Also they have quality staff.

I would agree with the statements already made. When I was in college (way back before they did the big movies) we were shown Pixar shorts in my animatation class. You know - the ones with the desk lamps. They were amazing. I remember being so impressed. Pixar pays attention to so much detail and they really work out the stories.

It is all the creators with excellent academic achievement. Genius animator or director definitely knows to make the best of anything is to have great interest in it and work hard.Pixar have the money to employ top students from good universities.Thats how they be the best.

WEll, I think it's because they don't make sequels into they're movies. Other people get tired of seeing the same faces over and over again. That's why Pixar has been really successful because of they have so much movies :)
