i used to spend hours on the phone with a friend of mine that had multiple problems lol..but now the phone has given way to mylot and i have only brief conversations on the phone and send long juicy emails..also as i am in two countries..the time difference doesn't always make it convenient for me to touvh base as frequently as i like save with close family..but i do try as much as i can to keep in touch with my friends..it is very important..

Absolutely it is very important to keep in touch with family! Unfortunately my mother can't hear very well nowadays so our telephone conversations are usually cut down to about 10 minutes! Thank you for your response!

Very little with friends - I hate the phone! I do have one friend that I will chat with for about an hour and a half. I also have two daughters that get about the same amount of time. Other than that, I want to get off the phone as quickly as possible. It is difficult to get good computer time when my spouse is home ~Donna

I'm really not a big phone person myself....I used to be with certain friends, it'd be nothing for me to be on the phone for a few hours actually LOL but these days i pretty much avoid the phone cause I find it annoying more often than not now LOL

My best friend lives a couple of hours away and we are so busy that we don't see each other. Sometimes we go weeks and weeks without a phone call so when we do get chatting it usually lasts till one of us needs to do something else. I love catching up with friends but i just don't have the time most of the time. Saying that i had a one hour conversation last night. :]

I am not that much addicted to phone. Usually I call my friends when it is neccessary. I prefer to talk to my friends in person. Over the phone I am not that comfortable how much I am when talking in person. I can see some people who just get stuck with the phone, I am wonder how can the do that.
But I always make it a point to keep in touch with people over the phone.

On a landline, I can spend an hour talking to friends over an important matter but never on a cell phone unless they initiated the call. Cost of cell phone calls here are astronomically high. If you don't control your calls you might even spent your day's wage in a single call.

Since you added a picture of the red box tele, I'll post one too! I don't like to talk on the phone most of the time. I am a person that multi tasks and if someone is yapping in my ear, I can't get other things done. Now that it's winter, cold and I'm spending more time inside, I do chat more but I think the most is ten minutes at a time. I know, a chick that doesn't love to talk on the phone ... unheard of huh?

For some reason I have never enjoyed being on the phone very much. I do enjoy talking to my children who live away from me, I'll talk to them as long as I can! But to just call and chat with a friend whom I see frequently, I don't like to be tied up that long! I only enjoy talking for long periods to those I don't see very often!

I used to be a phone addict, particularly when my partner and I were apart. I have been told I can chat for England sometimes, especially when I get chatting with mates, but these days I find myself spending more time chatting on line than on the phone.

Hi Bizzie! I can spend a fair amount of time on the phone with the girlfriends. Hours! It's easy for me seeing that my husband doesn't come home until 10 or so at night. I try to do things while I am on the phone, so that the chores are still getting done, but yes, I am a phone addict. I think it stems alot from the fact that I can't go out and see my girlfriends during the week, and I need an outlet after the 3 kids are in bed. I get so tired of hearing "ma? ma? ma?". Geez, give me a break!
