canada vs. america?

LOL I am Canadian and no I never said anything bad about you guys. My husband is British he is quite sarcastic but he does that to everybody, American or not. I deal with some Americans here due to my business networking, they are loud but not sarcastic and are surprisingly helpful. Are you sure these people are Canadians? They could've just said so or have a family here. To be truthful, we have enough problems here up North to deal with let alone looking for troubles with our own neighbour.

UsuallyI see Indian people on here or middle eastern bringing up discussions about evil America...blah blah blah..why give it any attention?

I was born in the U.S.and live here. but my moms family are all canadians. Some live here in the U.S. and some in Canada. I dont know about the rest of the canadians, but the ones Im realated to. They do not care for the united states. They seem to blame us for everything that goes wrong. It has gotten to the point were I dont even talk to them any more. It is a shame, for isnt canada supose to be are sister country?

Good for you aretha Im tired of it too. Who do they think they are? I have seen quite a few of them and its just not fair to us and we are great americans. Its just best to Ignore posts like that since in most cases its some moron making the post who thinks he/she will get more responses and earn that extra large sum of 6 cents. The only real bashing ive seen have been from the Indians and who really cares what they think anyway.

I have only seen jokes about Canadians and Americans--- Oh I should have said First off--- I'm American! Proud of it! I have no probelms with Canadians.. heck I try to go to Canada every year-- Niagara Falls.. I'm about 1.5 hours from there--- I have never had any problems with any Canadians.. They are just like us-- I see no differences.. Some are great and some are bad-- just as it is here in America. I try to stay away from all the I hate your country- you are terrorists.. type of junk- unless I catch a post and it turns me the wrong way- I've answered a few about being a PROUD American.. but as you can see my star rating has dropped to a 9... O-well... I agree-- Can't we all just get along..

I survived the American bashing on here about a month ago and I thought that was the worst of it but now THIS. I'm stuned that so many Canadians are into putting down Americans. One guy was actually accusing Americans of putting everybody down on the heels of his put down of everything American! I just asked a person from the Netherleands where he heard about the Ameicans bashing Canadians. I lIVE in the US and I've never even once heard an American put down of Canada. WHERE are they getting ths from?

i haven't noticed any of those posts. i try and stay away from the "i hate your country" kind of post. the way i see it is that we all live in this world, and not one place is so much better than the other. everyone should love the place where they come from and most likely defend it. i just met a canadian this week in las vegas, and she had nothing but good to say about our country (she probly won some money!), but anyway we should all just get along!

I am an American and have never had any problems with Canada or Canadians. I don't know why some make a big deal about things. Some people like to make trouble because they have nothing better to do. I choose not to be offended by anything anyone says about America. And I have nothing bad to say about any country or it's citizens. It is all nonsense and serves no purpose to put down others or their country.

I am a Canadian who LOVES the US and Americans. In fact, my fiance lives in Texas where I plan on relocating. I havent been at mylot long, only about a week or so, so I have not yet seen any negative posts between Americans and Canadians. I love our neighbours to the South, and I know of many Americans who hold Canadians in high esteem. Did you know that on 9/11 many Canadian families here in Nova Scotia where i live, took stranded American families into their homes. We had a family stay with us, their plane had been diverted. They were some of the most wonderful people I have ever met, and we still keep in touch. Lets all get along and love each other. Peace.

Hi ... I'm Canadian but I would never do that or be part of that kind of discussion ...its really too bad that one or two have started this and have made it bad us all look bad ... I actually love america .. not all canadians do but i do ... and honestly .. i hate canada ..smilin ..its too damn cold .... nah we are all people and there isnt too much difference between us accept the border in my opinion .. i will probably get slammed by some canadians for this but i'm willing to take it if they dish it out and i will be sure to dump it right back at them ... cause theres no need for that kind of crap as you put it ...

Im an american. Some canadian are trying to be imperialists. Like the propaganda such as? what are you doing with a sheeps american flag? Why British cotton? Why not just a canadian flag! just plain no silk and cotton! Just canadian! THATS NOT FAIR! I prefer cotton, who knows what the canadian flag has. thats just imperialism, assimilation. So I believe all nations are equal. Canadian who do think they are the best, man take those bad words off to the olympics see if you win first place.

It's interesting to point out that the reigning MVPs of the NBA, NHL and the MLB are all Canadians.
