What's wrong with Britney Spears?

It's just now that I learned that she's gone bald (I mean, skinhead). I had never been a Britney fan. I do believe she's a bad role model for young women. When I just learned it today (from several discussions here at myLot), the first thing that came to my mind was Madonna. She and Madonna (who happens to be Britney's idol, I heard from somewhere) would always hug the headlines for NEWER things going on in their lives. Of course, the media will buy publicity, and they (the media) overdo it! I think Britney is trying to do a Madonna whose career never sank. I just feel sorry for her kids. She's a mother, I hope she would realize that soon.

i just could not believe it when i learned she shaved her head! my goodness what in the world is going on with her? does she not even care about her kids or her fans? All i can say is she is starting to seem more and more like Courtney Love. I honestly think Britney Spears' antics are WORSE than Ms. Love's!!

I think she needs help before its too late. I wonder if she had post partum blues with the way shes been acting. I know some women just get sad after they have a baby, but there have been major cases of it. I feel bad for her and her kids and hope whatever is wrong with her she will soon figure it out.

Celebrities like her are crazed with their own self importance in the whole scheme of things that when they are dumped in a very old-fashioned way and made to look less than perfect, the whole masquerade vanishes and she is left being ordinary and vulnerable like the rest of us poor mortals. Kids are tough - they will bounce back given half a chance. Not too sure about the mum though.

I think that she is very unhappy with the divorce situation and is just acting up, if she didnt have two little babies at home no-one would be as worried as they are. Everyone knows that when you get married, you hope that it will be forever, the fact that she's a celeb means that everything she does is high profile. I know when i separated and got divorced i went on a bit of a bender for a few weeks but of cource im a nobody so i didnt make it to the news and i also didnt go quite to the extreme that she has either ( might have if i had her money). She will get her act together she just needs time and space, considering she has 2 babies i would say it wont be long. I think that she is lost and dosnt quite know what to do or how to move on with her life yet, i also think that she know what she is doing is wrong but needs to run amok for a while.

She isn't grounded. She doesn't have the guidance around her to help her make those decisions. She obviously isn't capable of doing them herself. She needs help.

celebrities feel obliged to conform to what the general public expect from them. why else would britney do something drastic like have a tummy tuck after the birth of both of her sons? its because she doesnt want to be viewed as a slob by the media and of course, her fans. i do know what you mean though, she really has let her image slide since she got with that poor excuse of a husband k-fed. but now she is going to divorce him, i hope we see a sassy, new and improved britney. I dont think its a good idea that she gets back with justin timberlake, after all he does have a girlfriend, and i dont have much respect for women who chase after men who are clearly in relationships. the best thing britney can do is focus on her little boys and being a good mother to them, and the good publicity will come back for her. she really needs to stop hanging around that air head, paris hilton though... thats a bad bad bad bad move!!!

i think she's just young, stupid, and can't think for herself. she's not that specaial. she just doesn't know how to deal with being a celebrity properly. she chose the stupid path instead of the graceful path in my opinon. yes, other celebrities have done what she's done a lot better. my only thinking is that they're just smarter then her. she ain't the sharpest tool in the shead, but she needs to start thinking for herself. i think because she let others run her carrer she doesn't know how to run it own her own. and she can't even take charge of her own life. i am concerned for those children. actually. if the father can be a better example, i'd rather they go to him, not her.

I am as amother very concerned with her kids development, at such young age, when they really need good examples from their parents, what they get is such an example of unstableness,partying behaviour , drinking and I am also asking to Britney, what the hell are you doing to your kids, girl. Where's your head and if you need help better yoiu go get help before it's too late, get up and move on.

The jealousy is astounding and they love to see the stars fall, especially when they make such spectacles of themselves while they are up. It is sad. I had heard something about her going bald, but none of the other stuff.

i don't think her newly shaved head has anythign to do with whether she is a good parent or not. That being said, she doesn't deserve to have her children. She has gone too far off the deep end and has done FAR too much wrong. If she were any "regular" person, her children would have been taken long ago.

Because you can take a girl out of the trailer park but you can't always take the trailer park out of a girl. She's nothing but white trash and all the money and fame in the world won't change that.

I wish I knew what to think about the whole Britney thing. Nobody really knows what is going on except her, and she may never come out and tell the public what is going on in her life. I guess the new bald head is her trying to become a new person, maybe start her life over now that scumbag Kevin is out of the picture. It is so strange how much she has changed since she first became popular, kind of like Christina Aguleria, she was sweet innocent blonde, then she became black hair, kinda dirty...but her image is still working out for her, people still follow her and her music, Britney is a whole different story...

yep. she's not the first divorcee on earth. there are lots like her and even had gone through worst situations compared to hers. but some are strong enough to keep themselves in tact especially for the sake of the kids. i am not a britney fan as well. but i do respect her ever since. she drives her own life. and where she is now is a result of her decisions before. who will she become later will still depend on her. she should not let other people, fans, nor the media drive her crazy. she will be the one responsible for her life and not other people. i've seen her bald head and i say, she still looks pretty anyway. but i hope she stays strong for her kids and that i hope this isn't just one of her tricks just to get people's attention again. and as always, i hope for happiness for her.

There is nothing wrong with her, she just grew up to be a nasty , disgusting poor excuse for a female and a mother, And she accomplished it all on her own.

I think that she is behaving this way because so many people are looking for her to become who she was before, and she can't do that again. She knows that she has messed up. This was for her reason to sign herself into a rehab, but I think that signing herself out was a big mistake. She obviously needs to go to therapy. Maybe she will, and maybe her mother will step in and talk to her. I just think all of this divorce, babies, trying to come back, etc. is taking a toll on her emotionally and mentally, and this is her way of trying to call for help. Who knows? Let's just hope she does get help before something more serious happens to her.

I think it's only because she's in the public eye. How many other single mothers that you know have dyed their hair, got tattoos or shaved their heads? In real life...? MANY. But just because the poor girl is living in the public eye, we all now think she's cuckoo.

After seeing on the news that she walked into a Hair salon and shaved all her hair off, I think she may be losing the plot a bit.

i reckon britney spears has a reason becuase she just broke up with her back up singer k fed (kevin federline) i reckon she is really depressed butshaving her hair bold and selling the hair on ebay that is obsurd
