bread and coffee and sometimes i even skip breakfast which is i know not too good. breakfast is the most important meal of the day so don't skip breakfast guys. if you're tired of having to eat the same food over and over again, try to buy some recipe books, you might get new ideas there for a healthy and delicious breakfast of different kinds

Thanks for the response. I agree with you in saying that we should not skip breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day.

i second that one must not skip breakfast. whenever i get tired of serving the usual buttered bread or pancakes, sometime all it takes is a spruced up presentation as what you often see in food magazines or as served in restaurants. why not serve it with slices of fruits on the side, add a bit of whip cream on top or buy a different spread or even make your own jam :D sprinkle with confectioner's sugar or some cinnamon, drizzle some syrup and viola, you're like rachel ray! the idea is to make it look more delicious than ordinary :D

Thanks! I agree on making it more creative, or should I say artistic?

One thing we love for breakfast, especially on a cold day is scrambled eggs with bacon and sausages, then a bit of fresh fruit to follow!

Thanks for sharing Lynn! Fresh fruit is definitely a good option, especially for my kids.

We have the same problem. It seems that breakfast of children is one of the hardest things to think of. Especially with children of this generation. We usually have rice in the morning. We sometimes have siopao ( expensive though). Also one recipe that the kids like is pandesal cut into half, dip in battered egg and fry in very little oil.

Mon-Wed-sat we have rice with either bacon, cornedbeef, hotdogs and eggs. Tues-Thu its either pancakes, bananafritters. Fridaays and sundays its cereals, oatmeal, or champorado.
