The money I earned may not be much but I can't believe what reading and posting discussions can do for you. I was able to use my brain which had long ago ceased to function since settling down and have 2 little ones to tend to. Furthermore, the roller coaster emotions it bring out in me. At times,I found myself getting annoyed or upset and laughing while reading the discussions. I also discovered that I was able to get a small glimpse of each of the mylotters persona. Anyone who also noticed this things? Please share your experience.

before joining mylot, i have lots of thoughts in mind. but i am the kind of person who is not into debating and i am scared of confrontations because i am not good at it. so,i always keep everything i have in mind for myself.
but when i get into mylot, my life has changed, it's in here where i can say what i wanna say (without trying to offend people ofcourse), i can share my views, opinions and thoughts. i can disagree with the discussions and people still get to appreciate it.
basically, it's here where i can share some parts of myself which i had been always scared to say.
just like you, there are times when i get amused when learning lots of things from people around the globe, laugh at funny situations posted and get irritated, too sometimes. but that's a part of life even in the real world. so, mylot and the people here have been keeping that "scared" half of me to open up, and laugh and get mad sometimes.

Yes My lot does make a difference to a lot of People, it has made me laugh cry and feel for others. The Brain is constantly on the go as you need to think, also the typing while I am thinking is working out now lol. Before I used to type faster then I could think and I would make mistakes and it would not come out to what I was meant to say lol. Now it all works in unison.

mylot has been knida informative for me too... just read the posts out here...some of them are pretty genuine too... most of the sad posts about rapists and husbands cheating on wives or wives cheating on husbands or abortion or anything for tht matter has made me realise tht i am quite lucky that such things havent happend to me yet!

I agree with you 100%.
It's the same for me. I'm not really here for the money and i never have but i admit it is nice to earn and see it grow. I really like the people i've met here and it's chance to make people know about me and build a good reputaion and be helpful as i can to fellow mylotters.
Discussion have helped me to think more clearly, share my views and ignore what people think because i know there are people who think highly of me and to tell the truth i think highly of a lot of mylotters and some mean the world to me as friendships are something which are very important.
Kudos!

Yes you can learn so much here on mylot. Our different personalities do come thru on our discussions and comments. Reading the discussions and some of the comments is good entertainment. Some of it is funny, I find myself laughing out loud sometimes. Have fun!!

When I first joined, I found it hard to stay away. It is almost intoxicating. I have made good friends, that I honestly care about, and laughed, and tried yummy new recipes. I have read people's literary endeavors, and learned lots of other new things. Welcome to myLot.

Posting can be fun in more ways than one. Reading other peoples post is fun and intertaining. We get some good ideas from all different angles. If we were on here for the money I am afraid we would be hungry. You can make money but only pennies a day unless you sit behind a computer all day. How many of you out there agree with me on that?

It is true that it is like mind food. You are subjected to many topics that perhaps you would have never thought about before. Also you get to learn about other tips on things, ask questions, and give advice. It is kind of like a counseling session. I would still love to learn how to get the most money out of this though.

I am extremely new to mylot, but my experience with other forums has told me I have much to learn from strangers. I also have found how easy it is to bond with people you don't even know.

That's exactly what happened to me too charms, myLot unleashed the creative beast within me..lol The more time I've spent on myLot that better my writing and reading skills. Now since I'm on here so often, I'm constantly thinking of new ways to put forth discussions. It's a whole new world and I'm totally enjoying it!:)

I agree with you charms88. I have learned quite a lot since I have been here and I have not been here for very long. I have been here about four weeks and love reading the discussions and responses. It has broadened my mind about quite a few things. It gives us a look into how other people view things which is a very good thing. It is a wonderful site with outstanding possibilities. The money is fine and I am not overly concerned with it. But to look into the minds of other people and expand your own knowledge is a wonderful thing. I spend much of my time here and loving it more each time I enter this world.

Well one thing i earned on mylot that they are not fake, they pays for good quality posting. I am trying to write quality post all time. Sometime me too become upset because of the slow process of earning money on it. Lets see how many people earn on it much.

I have only been here a few days also and have been overwhelmed at what the discussions are all about. Like you said it makes your brain work in overload sometimes. Makes you know that you are not the only troubled person in the world that others are worse off than you. Good way to meet some great people and correspond.
