I know there are people of many religions and faiths. What is the place that you worship like? Is it a beautiful old time Catholic church or a simple synagogue? Personally, I attend church in a small room with a small congregation, which is how I like it.

Although I'm a Hindu I have no real desire to go to a temple to worship. My religion is in my head and if I choose to pray I will do it at home without showing people that I'm doing it. That said, I do love to visit churches to sit for a while in beautiful peaceful surroundings without being disturbed and being able to take in the serene atmosphere.
Before anyone accuses me of being a traitor for visiting churches when I don't regularly go to temples, that's your issue not mine. I don't need to be dictated to about where I go to gain a sense of peace - God is supposed to be for anyone so if I choose to visit Him in a church or temple or synagogue then I can do so. I'm not hurting anyone by doing this :)

I am a member of the Church of Christ and we worship in any place where we can assemble or be together be it in a house, anywhere. Some congregations that have big membership and more money construct buildings where they may assemble. It is not the building that matters, it is the assembly to do the will of God.

I am like you in that I go to a church that is small in size and I do love it that way. It is nice not having to be lost in a crowd.

The only place I go to worship is my homes open terrace (roof). And the GODs I worship are my Mind and Body. And the whole ritual is called 'Yoga'.
Thank you
Take care

I attend a small Catholic church. I used to go to a much larger church. . .1,300 in attendance on Sunday. . .I miss that a lot. . . the choirs are huge (4 choirs total, not counting cantors and musicians!). . .a lot of new people to meet and great every week. . .Big Christmas pageants and a lot of Creativity for Holy Week. . .A really nice 26-rank pipe organ. . . .
I started at this smaller church. . .because. . .well, I'm the organist/pianist/choir director! I felt a true calling to come to this smaller church. I saw there was a need that I could help with. And the larger church, well it had/has good folks to make the music ministry happen without me. But I must say, I miss the ability to create some really wonderful music and programs with a larger congregation.

Im a Pagan, and so I consider Nature an huge place in which to go to worship.
It's wonderful to go in a solitary spot and to connect with Divinities around us.

I attend church outside in a barn. We started with 60 people but we now have about 400. No one dresses up. It is called Cowboy Church and we love it.
