Mylot, how to make money here?

I'd be interested in hearing how people make that much money here too. I started here in January, so I haven't been here all that long either. For last month I got a little over $15, so that's not bad, but it's nowhere near what I've seen some people saying that get. On the other hand, I have no referrals (I don't even really do anything else online lately to use to refer people) and I have a full-time job and a baby. So really the amount of time I spend on here probably isn't that much compared to some people. I have seen my earnings go up by more than a dollar on days when I wasn't even on very long, when I started a discussion that lots of other people replied to. I've also seen them go up by more when I made a few quality replies than when I made many short ones. That's about all I can say.

here there are some tip to get more in mylot 1. Respond in posts not comments. 2. Comment back to ALL responses to your discussions. 3. Tag all your responses with AS many words as possible. 4. Answer a wide variety of topics. 5. Answer questions with no response. 6. Apply plus ratings to everyone. 7. When you reply in posts write a minimum of 4 lines and don't babble, make quality replies. 8. Keep discussions going. 9. Make friends that can help you out. 10. Aim for over 50 posts per day to different discussions to make and maintain at least 10 new topics per day. 11. Start looking for referrals. 12. Do about 3 sites about mylot with your referral link. 13. Make sure that your site will be on top sites site. 14. Talk to your friends, and please them that they talk to their friends. Hopefully it will work and geting more money

well, i've been here for quite sometime but i didn't earn a lot because i didn't spend lots of time here... but at least my earnings increase everyday... i just respond to discussions and make some posts... that's it... i didn't have any referrals as well... i am happy if i can earn $ 10 every month because i just treat this as a bonus money...

This is a question often seen on myLot...how to gain more money here =) I am here on myLot from 3 months and I earnt here about 43$. This is not so much but I think it's a correct earning for what I did. I can earn only 50 cents per day if I don't spend here not much time, my best day earnings were 1.5$ per day. I can earn about 10-15$ per month. For this month I am not earning so much...just only 11.17$ because I am not working so much on this site! I will try to tell you my best advices to earn more! First: try to reply as many discussions you can, with your best words and with longer replies! This counts very much in earnings! Try answering with interesting replies so people will rate you positive and you will earn more! Second: Don't loose too much time in uploading pictures, only if you find them interesting in your discussion, because pictures make you earn only 1 cents or something more....but you loose more time than doing a discussion! Third: Referrals are very important. If they begin loving myLot and begin writing here they can make you earn very much! Unfortunately it's so hard to find them! I have only 7 of them...5 of them are not writing anything ;-( I did a discussion on how to find them! If they are interested, write your referral link and they begin writing here. Try to not spam because they can kick you out of the room or ban you! Try to talk of Mylot to all your friends! "mouth's word" is the best thing, your friends for sure will trust you, so they will register and begin writing here! Fourth: try opening interesting discussions reading news and trying to write something others have not already written! Your discussion must be the more interesting between others and the easiest to reply to! If you succeed in doing this, many other people will reply to you and you will earn more!

First of all, welcome to MyLot. I'm not making that much of money here in MyLot in my terms of 'much' money. However, I have to be honest, I enjoy being here as well. So, can't complain, eh.:D If/when I can give you my advice, the best thing is to start to make your own rules. Like for instance, how much time would you be willing to be here in MyLot for a day. How many responses or and discussions at least you have to make within a day. And how many pictures would you like to upload within the same day. After you see your earning for that day, it is up to you whether you want to set another rules by being more active, more hardwork or just satisfy with the previous standard. I recommend you do all, responding discussions, uploading pictures and try to get referrals. For at least, when you get your earning less in the responding of discussions, there is still some earning from uploading pictures or and referrals. Alas, I haven't even been on the site for two weeks, so I don't really know the "patterns" yet. I am really not sure how a person would go about making 100 dollars in a month, unless you had about 50 active referrals... and I don't know that many people who'd be interested in this. I have fun with the site though, and have made an interesting new friend or two. If I end up getting $10-15 a month from this, that'll be great, and at least it won't feel like I am just "wasting away time" here. I have uploaded a few photos-- they only seem to be worth about 1 1/2 cents each.

you have to answer a lot of discussion....to have a lot of earnings...

It really is all about the quality and how much time you can devote to this site. My current earnings are $37.51 and only $5.08 of that is from referrals, however I am a stay at home mom and my children are in school all day so I do have a lot of free time I can spend on this site searching for things that interest me. I only ever uploaded one photo and got paid one cent for it, so my earnings don't come from that. I try to answer discussions as well as I can and never with one or two words. If I agree with you or not, I will give reasons to back up my opinion.

Well I have been on here for approx. 6 days and I have 5 cents in my bank earnings. This site is interesting but I am still trying to get used to navigating since I was on Yahoo Answers before. It is nice that you get a little bonus but I don't think I will be able to make my car payment from this.

I think it depends by the time you spend on this site. 1 hour a day is about 0,50$. You have to think that if you promote this site and you have 5-6 refer you gain the double. Imagine webmasters of sites which promote gains on internet. They have more than one hundred refer. So they gain a lot...

I appreciate your topic very much.I regist on mylot 4 days ago,I'm still not familiar with it very much,so I'm sorry I can't give you any tips.I have the same problems as you ,when I skim the responds above,I know more about mylot and get many useful informations.I think as long as you work hard on it ,you will have good results.

Well i guess there are no shortcuts here. The best way is to indulge in meaningful and thought provoking discussions. That way your quality of posts go up and you automatically earn more.

i know that this is going to sound really dumb but how do i start a discussion?i see on my left hand side discussions i have strted and there are none.do i have to upload photos to start a discussion?i havent been able to even upload my own photo...i dunno if its the problems of mylot or is it my computer or is there a way of doing it?

My Lord,That's the trouble with people coming into the Internet to make money quickly when given an opporunity like this. There is money, but no quick money. Time and Patience are the key to this business. Try asking one person per day to join Mylot and work on their numbers multiplying after 3-6 months. Good Luck.- Cripsy
