What does it mean to be rich?

I had an interesting conversation today with my friend over coffee--she believes that there are different meanings to the word "rich" or "wealth" and I tend to agree with her. So do you consider yourself rich?

I agree with you. I am a very rich person. I am surrounded by a wonderful family and friends, I have pretty good health, I live in a country where I am free, I have the necessitites of life, I laugh a lot and I enjoy living life. I am not wealthy by any means. I mean I do not have a lot of money, but I am working on that. I will eventually be wealthy, but even if I never hit that state, i will forever be rich and to me that is more important.
