Do you think Brittney Spears shaving her head + tattoo's was just for attention?

Any publicity is good publicity. Ever notice that when Justin or Kevin gets a headline, she pulls one of these stunts? Pretty soon people are going to start ignoring her, kind of like the boy who cried wolf. Sure she has had some rough times but that's the price of being in the spotlight. She isn't complaining when she gets her royalty checks or bonus payments ... personally, I think it's her trying to one up Justin and Kevin.

I think I read that someplace else on Mylot too. What a weird thing to do. That can't be a pretty sight. It probably is just a gambit for attention. Who knows, maybe she had head lice. LOL

i think she needs an attention and maybe if she doesn't get that in public she feels sick. so she do unusual things to herself to be notice and that is how she cure herself with that disease. or maybe she feel that her star is fading in the showbiz world and she uses that as a defense mechanism to boost her self-esteem because maybe it's difficult for her to accept that she's defeated by the many new artists' coming out. maybe if she doesn't do what she was doing now, i think it's possible that she may lose her mind. who knows right?

Boy do i? She gets married and then goes to get it canceled as she was "out" of her "mind". personally i think she's always pulling lame stunts. "i'm a virgin" - "i'm a good girl" blah blah. I can honestly say it looks rather like it and she may have reasons like we've been hearing over in the united kingdom. Metal health issues? I doubt it. It's always around the time of a new cd release or a single and i don't get her at all. Childish and selfish, not bright. pretty much sums her up, this will probably be the only time you see my respond like this shady but these people really are full of themselfs. Kudos ~Joey

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if that was a comeback publicity stunt. You just never know! Let's reflect on the albums she has created thus far! Can you say, "Oops she did it... again??

I think the attention Brittany Spears is getting over shaving her head on a drunk binge is rediculous.. if she shaved her head for cancer she wouldent get near as much publicity, its sad reallly.. and it makes you wonder what this world is comming to.

I will never understand these " stars" they show everything and I mean everything , They know that youngsters copy them ,now there will be bauld youngsters going about , If she had done it with sponsers for cancer research or something like that I would have said good for her , but as a publicity stunt just pure madness , xx

Extremely drastic if it's a publicity stunt, I think the poor girl is suffering and her sanity needs to be brought into question and it's a case of 'Ooops I did it again' Her music was ok, not brilliant but she made a name for herself, now the only name she's got is mad and that should be definitely tattooed on her forehead! Stupid girl, what a waste!

i think it was all for publicity and getting attention to the public. i think she's not doing great in her career right now so she had to do this publicity just to have attention from the media and public.

I don't think it's a way of getting attention. She don't need that to get the world's attention. She already had that. I think she's breaking down. It's probably not an act. Yes, there are celebrities who enjoy the limelight more than the others, like, cough, Paris Hilton. But this one probably not it. Probably. I think she's not realyy up there. She's got everything, fame, money and she screwed up everything. she needs help but she denies it and she chose her way which can lead her to much more regression. Time to get up britney, show that you can do much better and brighter than what you can do today.

I saw a photo of her shaving her head and it looked as if she was halfway done with it. Only certain women can get away with a shaved head: Demi Moore, Sinead O'Connor, or Natalie Portman. Britney Spears will only look more horrible. Maybe she woke up one morning and got fed up with brushing her hair. I've had mornings like that where I just throw my brush against the wall after struggling with a knot. She may have just gone to a whole other level with the baby screaming in the next room.

I think it was to try something new. Brittney Spears was never that great as a singer IMO. She only relied on her looks to fit certain demographics and once those faded, she had nothing. I do think it's for attention.

Poor girl. I understand that she is stressed out but come on she did take it the extream, right? She is loaded! Why does she care what anyone thinks? There are so many people in this world with Real Problems.. She needs to grown up and take care of those poor kiddo's right? She shouldn't let people like Kevin just use her for her money... I feel bad for the kids they always suffer...

Of course it's attention getting! That's her favorite hobby! I'm still surprised that she still has her kid! She is very childish and isn't she pregnant again? I've never liked her myself and I doubt I ever will! I'm glad she shaved her head, now my hubby doesn't like her new look LOL! Now I can say she's a punk with that new style LOL!

i think she is just craving attention, since divorcing kevin she has been very messed up. i think he just craving attention and trying to make him feel bad and trying to get him back maybe :S

My common sense tells me she did that just to get attention to say "hey, I'm turning over a new leaf and going to rehab." I don't see any logical reason why a person would tatoo and shave themselves UNLESS it is a requirement in the rehab facility she's going in. She's the only celebrity I could remember who did something drastic like that.

I think she really,really needs some help. maybe she had post partum depression and no one caught it. Her behavior isnt normal. She needs to go to rehab and stay there and deal with life. Of course none of us live celebrities lives, but we live life nonetheless, and we cope. She needs to get some help and better herself-she has been crying out for help for at least the last two years! If she doesnt straighten up and fast, she will have no career to make a comeback to!As Nsync sang, it'll be bye bye bye! For poor brit! Hope she gets some help

Yup i think she now belongs to the club of desperados who will do anything for the sake of publicity.Shaving her head bald,showing off her ***** in parties shows without doubt that she has stooped to such a low lwvel that she can do anything for publicity.I even read a blog where the blogger had explained how a w***e is better than Britney. Well watch out Paris Britney is here,this is going to be the ARMEGEDDON of the S****.
