Kids can do a lot of things for themselves, but they also need someone to take care of them. Kids need a house, a place to sleep, nutritious food to eat, clothes to wear, and toys to play with. Kids also need someone who will take them to the doctor and dentist, make sure they get a bath, and get them up in the morning so they get to school. And just as important, kids need someone who loves them and does not hurt or abuse them.
anybody can look over these needs...baby sitter or relative.
*What's the most important one need according to u, only parents can serve for?

You've said it all but there's one think that a child needs the most - The mother's love. There's nothing that can be compared to the mothers love.

As you said everything for a kid from bathing to feeding etc etc.. can be done by a baby sitter but without abuse or not is not sure in that case. But the most impotant one a kid need is a "Love" that parental love and care which a mother gives her kid without any expectation that parental love and affection is equal to Gods Love & affection on us because there is no expectation on that. And thats how the kid learns about the true love to the humankind without any expectation later on. And the most important thing is bringing up the kid is with good ethical values.

Kids need food, healthcare and dealing with any special needs that they may have, education, nurturing, housing, and the like. I really don't think that there's any need only parent can serve, per se, depending on the relationhip betweeen the person in question and the child. As they say it takes a village to raise a child and we as a society seem to have forgotten that.

i think baby sitter will only look after them, but they wont be much concerned about kids emotionally, parents have much more deeper relationship with them, they are their souls, a little scratch can even add to the worries of the parents, they are always concerned about them.

I have noticed in my life, that a kid is the happiest when both of their parents are together, may be playing with each other or giving company to him/her. This cant be given by anyone else then the parents. I think it gives them a great feel of security.

a baby can share all the other needs and demands with their relatives or with baby sitter.the most important thing they always expect is hug, nearness, smell, feel safe when they are in their parents hand or beside.these things only parents can serve for their children.
