i am very confused..

I have seen this as well. In some other discussions I learned that you only get paid for the first response to your discussion. Not good to encourage continuing discussions. You make more for responding to ther people's discussions. I do not start very many discussions. What you do get from starting discussions is your reputation. I think a discussion with lots of positive responses does a lot to move you up to that ten. You make one fourth of what your referral makes. You make one cent for uploading a photo. Hope this clarifies.

i just got 12cents yesterday too for 7posts. you know what i think i have tackled this question in one of my discussions. like you i really thought we get paid by the responses we get from our discussions, that's why i always try to make discussions that will generate many responses, but my earnings prove otherwise. it seems we do not get credit for the responses our discussions generate. we only get paid for the first response, then that's it. all other responses are not paid. i have experimented on this one and most of the time, the results favor this theory. although, still there are times when i still wonder why i get more and why i get paid less for the same discussions or responses. mylot is just unpredictable,and uncomprehensible.hhehehe.

I am really trying not to let the smaller earnings bother me. Even a few cents is better than not. Besides, it is not the money that keeps me coming back, it is the friendships that I have made here. : ) Huggers to you.

yes i agree wth u, me also bother same problem,when i post 20 discussion thn also gt jus few cents n whn i post 30 thn also same, whts tht?? bt i mainly notice,it depends on more over we post pics n discussion n gt replies too,whn we gt alot replies thn it increase our earnings, i think so....

Welll friend, one thing for sure I can tell u based on my discussion.... that is -- YOU DON'T GET PAID IF SOMEONE REPLIES TO UR POSTS-- IT'S HE WHO GETS PAID FOR IT.... got it.... you get paid whenever you post a topic, your refernces work or you upload an image.... and I guess you must have responded to a fewer number of posts on that very particular day..... right dude..... anyways don't be disappointed....and get going....

Yanjiaren, I'm sorry that this happened to you :( I still made about what I expected yesterday, which was around 3 cents per post. There is no one who can tell you exactly how we get paid, since the Mylot team don't wish to disclose their earnings algorhthm, but I have noticed that I have gotten paid slightly more on days that i've had really popular topics. Other than that, I can't tell how much we get paid for people replying to our topics. I have a feeling that it is a very small fraction of a cent per reply, if it's anything specific. I think that we mostly get paid for replying. I've earned anywhere from 2-4 cents per post in the time that I've been here. And never fear - if you're posting good quality replies, your earnings will probably go up quite a bit when Mylot cleans up some of the junk from the site again. I know that I've had that happen more than once now! ^_^

Well we are paid for posting quality answers, may be in a hurry have you given very insignificant answers, that way you get less. But somehow even 37 cents is good by my standards as I have lowest even 12 cents.

Hey..though i logged in to my lot a number of days before..i never took it seriously..but one of my frends got in to it and he was very ,much impressed with this....by the way..plz suggest some ways to make more money in mylot

Well that is a mystery else every one would start going in that direction and eventually mylot would have to go bankrupt. But dont you worry about that everything will be back on track and u will start earning the same as earlier. FOr discussions that we start according to mylot description we will be paid for the quality discussions.

Thank goodness it isn't just me. Normally it was easy to make something every day, but last night I spent about 5 hours, finding 10 things to reply to that I was interested in, and started several of my own. When they updated, I was so shocked I only got 12 cents instead of 50 cents or 1.00 that I logged out for the evening. I wasn't here for the money, but stilllll.... it is still a consideration.

Same thing happened to me, sometimes i wonder where my earnings go. For the last two days i posted some responses but when i checked my earnings today, nothing is reflected there. Like only until my feb 17 earnings are there. I'm a bit confused.

It sounds like the reason you were paid less was because you didn't respond to as many discussions. I did do any on Saturday and Sunday until teatime and I only earned 1c on Sunday and I don't know what that could have been from.

I have the same concern too. I posted the most number of discussion and got a lot of responses yesterday but i only got about 37 cents too. I hope this could be clarified or maybe its just partial earnings and more is yet to come for yesterdays postings?

it seems to be pretty slim. Must do a lot of posting to get some mula! :) So starting new discussions and replying to others. Got it.

u might have writen less things as per the new alogrithem u get mony based on the no. for chars

I think you should not check your earning every day and all the time, just go on working and enjoy the discussions money will come automatically. The algorithum of earnings on mylot is bit complex and I think all earning don's get added on the same day. Because I have seen an addition in my earnings, even if I didn't work for some day on mylot.

yes i think by this time you should have known this things and you get only the ratings and few bucks too for responding to responses you have got and i think it need to be regular and the earning depends on the ratings so far.

Not exactly sure how we are paid but i find the discussions interesting and enjoy posting and reading what others think. The payment is just a bonus.
